I came from even further back than Westover, but tbh daylight was second to Nathan and well done too Takeyourtime the runner up.

Many thanks for yet another enjoyable big meeting competition.

Well done Nathan you smashed it.. :yahoo: and to TYT and Ian Davies for getting to the Podium and Raymo for winning the cakes.

Also big thank you to Raymo for running it and not keeping us in suspense for too long after the last race.

Worst moment today seeing Blue Trail set of from the stalls minus Will Buick thankfully he is ok after a horse reared up in the next stall and hit him in the face.
Best moment seeing Desert Crown take the Derby for Stoutey. :yahoo:

Well done all with winners today. :good:

Great effort by Nathan, I hope you skinned the bookies mate :yahoo:

Very good efforts by Takeyourtime and Ian Davies to get your feet
firmly on the podium. Well done guys :good:

Ramymo thanks very much for running this one, and more importantly
well done for winning the cakes….AGAIN !!!. I’m not sure how that
will have gone down, may I suggest you perhaps make an arse of the
next one for matrimonial harmony

Well done Nathan and thanks to Raymo for the hard work in organising this competition.

Raymo will be chuffed that I kept the maths to a minimum on my entry! As usual my reserves did better than the main selections, summed up the day that Oh Herberts Reign led until near home and came fourth and in the sprint I had 50/1 2nd Mountain Peak as my reserve!

    Ah well, reset for Ascot…

Well done winners and huge thanks to Mr and Mrs Raymo for running the competition.
Bad luck for all the Blue Trail supporters, thankfully the incident wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
Best moment for me was hearing that Oh This Is Us was ok after being pulled up yesterday.
Some cracking races and super close finishes adding to the excitement!

Yes Jac, I had a bit of a meltdown yesterday when Nick
Luck said things didn’t look good after Oh This Is Us was pulled up then later somebody had spoken to Sean Levey and they said he was ok, fingers crossed all is well. Apparently he is Richard Hannon’s favourite horse too! :rose:

Thank you for all the kind words.
I’m putting my victory down to the law of averages, enter all the comps and a bit of luck will eventually run my way.
Thank you Raymo for keeping scores, you did a great job. It has been really nice to see the forum united together and keep these fun competitions going.
Agree that Oh This is Us was the highlight for me him being well. I was worried too and the jockey did a good job in pulling him up..

    Well played, Nathan. :good:

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

“I’m putting my victory down to the law of averages”

I’m putting his victory down to him being “too clever by half,” as my granny used to say.

Maximum respect to “the Hughesmeister,” “the Nathanatron!”

Congratulations Nathan! :good: A very impressive win and a great score on Day 2! Well done to TakeYourTime and Ian on making the podium. Huge Thanks to Raymo for running this comp and a nice job on winning the cakes too. The less said about my own abysmal performance the better!
