I submit that the gingertipster
should stand a ghostly third
on the columned rostrum
this year end
by virtue of his spooky posting. There were a lot of turgid words attached
to the title annus hirriblis 2008 ‘ite
Words of War
that may have swung the result.
A fascinating contest nonetheless
the artillery made it bleed
A great great movie.Congratulations to Grays
for getting the double up
and fists for getting the whisker result.
RE SPEC
There is one thing missing though
Cormack knows it
everyone know itthe list
more on this later
Tidings of comfort and joy
comfort and joy
tie eye dings of comfort
and ploy
January 2, 2009 at 04:36 #200960“My Uriah,” said Mrs. Heep, “has looked forward to this, Sir, a long while. He had his fears that our umbleness stood in the way, and I joined in them myself. Umble we are, umble we have been, umble we shall ever be,” said Mrs. Heep.
Mark has perfected the umble post
it wrings out all that extra juice
and there is little defence to it

…breatheJanuary 4, 2009 at 03:31 #201411I’ve contacted those of the winners that I have contacts for and the following have kindly replied expressing their thanks to everyone (well, those that voted for them I guess!) at having been voted winner in their respective categories –
Clare Balding
AP McCoy
Sir Clement Freud
Kevin ManningJanuary 4, 2009 at 03:37 #201413What – no reply from Deano?
How rude of him.
January 4, 2009 at 15:10 #201459Many, many thanks to whoever it was that nominated us in the Owner category. Nice to even be mentioned in the same list as the others (well, maybe with one exception!!).
Happy New Year to all & keep up the good work on an excellent forum…I will try to contribute more often & thus keep one of my 2009 resolutions!
January 4, 2009 at 15:25 #201461Congratulations to all the winners
January 5, 2009 at 00:21 #201609whatever happened to Deja Vu dprp?
January 5, 2009 at 15:06 #201695whatever happened to Deja Vu dprp?
A talented horse that looked set to be better over fences than he was over hurdles (won 3). He ran a blinder to finish 2nd at Haydock to subsequent festival winner Dun Doire. However he picked up an injury in the race and was never really the same after that.
He was sold to go point to pointing in the North.January 5, 2009 at 16:43 #201712Any joy with princess_haya003@hotmail.com then?

January 5, 2009 at 17:27 #201719Good to see you back wit
January 5, 2009 at 17:31 #201720kind of you to say so, db
January 5, 2009 at 23:24 #201796I’d like to echo those sentiments – nice to see you back, Wit. The forum has lacked a certain gravitas in your absence.
January 9, 2009 at 21:40 #202817Wit has seen my forelock scrape
and shine my shoe
and then bend over
fatwah
and shine the backs
but I will move with boldness
on to another wit
and the creative
joys of the month of february
which held wit a plenty last year
and the year proceeding.I reference two lounge threads
America the Beautiful – author Ugly Mare (7500 views)
Feb 08Ostermeyer sleeps with trees
and if you like crack
a book lies within about
the joys of american cricket
narrated by bootleg Sharpie
the game of baseball.
I felt like Darwin in there
exploring a new world
in the comapny of AliceJilly ! Male or female ? – author Madman Marz (3500 views)
Feb 07a wormhole thread containing that delicious line by Jilly King..
" I am not a domanatrix as such – I am just confident "
Those are my two contributions. I will be ringfencing Jilly
herself when I get round to the jilly tapes in the edge of razeen.
Jillly herself has created a high point last year with her
portraits and very bold flash. As for this year well,
I just have to mentionA good day out or my american wife
in horseracing
by the highly charged and personable Craig Braddick.
The title alone deserves a prize. It’s been a good year for the readers
and Glenn you are still up there
at the top of the tree
p.s
I do not wish to distance the light
from this years winners,
but give us some threadsold threads for new
January 16, 2009 at 05:43 #204241P.S. I agree with Gamble…
