Champ Kiely is in my TTF so I’ve backed him, though tough to give weight to a good horse like Heart Wood over the latter’s ideal trip. If he beats Heart Wood that’s his mark shot for the Grand National too. Hmmm.
I’ve backed Ile Atlantique too. Racing Post says he has had “jumping issues” – I’d say they were jockey issues. He jumped well on comeback run which he apparently needed.
Also had to have 50p ew on Classic Getaway cis I would be sick if he won and I didn’t back him.
So have backed 3 of 4 Mullins runners….in a 7 runner field….watch Gentleman de Mee hack up now….
