A no brainer. Aidan O’Brien by a distance.

    AOB gets my vote.

Fantastic training performances on many occasions this season.

    Aidan O’Brien.

Such a tough job but still finds Group winners season after season.

Aiden O’Brien, sometimes I like the bloke, sometimes not. Don’t like him when hyping up of his horses. "Best miler I have ever trained". Every horse "shows so much speed, so he does". But like him as a bloke. Did not like what he did with pacemakers in the Queen Anne and International which almost vetoes my vote.

Had I been on here last year would’ve voted for either Beckett or Dascombe as ones to watch, sorry aftertiming. No doubt they are both heading to the top. After his Oaks win with a scrawny looking filly and Breeders Cup win Beckett will undoubtedly get better bred animals.

Stoute by his standards did not have a great year just a fine end. At last a Leger win.

Gosden had a super season, seamingly always in form.Looks to have a good chance (fingers crossed) of 1000 glory. Did take time to get the hang of Raven’s Pass.

Bolger has done great things this season. Particularly with New Approach and Lush Lashes. Press went overboard in criticising his build up to the Derby. Also, hopefully one or two other trainers will take a leaf out of his book and run their best horses more often.

Has to be either O’Brien or Bolger but for all those Group 1’s just favour O’Brien.

Gosden. Nice guy too. Took the time to discuss his horses with my partner and I at Santa Anita when we ‘doorstepped’ him. I’m sure he had other things on his mind.
