Thanks for a very informative round up of Week 1 Graham and very well done to Mickeyjp with his brilliant pick Fastorslow proving that he wasn’t just lucky beating GDC last year he means business and mickey has knocked most of the League for six with that selection. :good:

Bravemansgame just wasn’t on his game last week Graham but surely must be better than that.. Best of luck with him and of course I have to mention that we both share a budding Dark Horse in Stage Star.
The Dark Angels are very excited about him. They’re so excited he won such a high scoring race and have their hooves crossed for more to cone.

Early days yet but I’m very happy with being in 4th position behind HBAL and Red Jumpers and although Constitution Hill winning won’t make a lot of difference to my position I do also have Love Envoi in that race who could run a big race if CH is in any way still carrying some condition.(which I very much doubt)

Best of luck to all and keep all the horses and jockeys sound and safe. :good: Jac

Thanks Jac, good to see you off to a good start and I think Stage Star could
get us a heapload of points this year, he looks a bit special. AS you say,
Constitution Hill probably wont make a lot of difference, I’m pretty sure
he’s in the majority of Stables. He’s an exciting horse.

Good luck to everyone this week, some decent runners on the go :good:

Apologies for the delay in the update, but being a constant carer, cook
dish washereuperer, plus varius bits and pieces that for the sake of modesty
I won’t mention here, all takes a bit of time.

Week 2 Update will be on later today.

Did read your problems on another topic thread here. No wonder you found little time on here to update, plus Tote been updating their site.

Have 3 with the tote (Red Jumer 1 one I’ve entered on here, Red Jumper 2 which is a slight alteration and my free one Neil’s Jumper which is currently 2nd in the free list and could go top after the weekend.

Best of luck with them Neil, just belatedly about to shine an olympic style
    torch on our TRF competition

    Week 2 Update

The question was asked by Impaire Et Passe and was answered by Teahupoo in the
Hatton’s Grace, but only in the last 100 yards. He was made to work for his win
but it was enough to keep mickeyjp at the head of affairs (28.10 Points) and
keeps his lead with 122.85 points. Still there to be shot at, just the way you
    like it Mickey :good:

Yellowbog Stables got out the mire to make an impressive move up from 6th to
2nd place, and had the forecast in the Hatton’s Grace with Teahupoo and Impaire
Et Passe (1.10 points). I hope you had the f/c on there YS. He also had a very
decent looking one in Ballyburn(1.10 points), well beaten by the useful looking
Firefox in the run-in. He’s a winner in waiting for sure YS :good: (104.02 points)

FF91 was also one who had Teahupoo (28.10 points in case you had forgotten) and
the previously mentioned decent run by Ballyburn. With only 5 in the league having
Teahupoo, and Ballyburn, it jumps FF a mega 10 places from 13th to 3rd. Got yourself
bang in the picture in the top 3 FF. Great week for you :good: (90.17 points)

Hoy’s boys and Ladies, despite having Impaire Et Passe (1.10 points) drops a couple
from 2ns to 4th. Still well in there HBAL. (88.50 points)

Red Jumpers had to settle for two runners-up mentioned above, Ballyburn and Impasse Et
Passe but the 2.20 points wasn’t enough to hold on to 3rd spot and dropped to 5th. (85.25 points)

I’ve squeezed up 1 place with Jeriko Du Reponet (12.47 points). He had only had 1 race in France
prior to being bought by JP. Going to Nicky Henderson I had heard some good vibes and he won his
maiden with the minimum of fuss. Definitely one to put in your notebook. (84.89 points)

Green’s Gallopers certainly lived up to their name with a move up from 14th to 7th and a very
impressive horse in Classic Getaway (23.70) for a bloodless win at Thurles. He runs in the Cheveley
Park Stud colours. He’s down for the Savills Chase at Leopardstown later this month and this could be
aimed high by Willie Mullins. Well done green, an impressive run with more to come :good:

Dropping 4 places to 8th are the Dark Angels. I’m afraid the 1.10 points for Impaire Et Passe wasn’t
enough to hold your place Jac, but he’s definitely one that will add plenty points and I’ve got
him down in my tracker. I reckon he’s a winner next time out :good:

Just like Jac (Dark Angels) Madison Wonderland had his chance spoiled by a top class Teahupoo who
had just enough in the run in to hold off Impaire Du Passe. As I’ve already said MW, he’s a horse
that I’m pretty sure will do well this year (74.57 points)

Goodfellow managed to nick a place with Gaelic Warrior’s win at Punchestown gaining 12.40 points.
he was anothe with Impaire Du Passe who looks like a good horse o have in your stable (73.05 points)

    So that’s the top 10

Aintree holds a decent meeting tomorrow and the Becher Chase is shaping up nicely. I’ve always
had a notion that there is a big race in Highland Hunter, who was just run out of it last time
by Elvis Mail (getting 5 lbs) I reckon this will suit him well. I think he’s a Grand National type.

Constitution Hill gets the chance to show that he is still a grade above everything else running.
He will have Shishkin to deal with who can be brilliant on his day, it’s just that I don’t think
    tomorow will be his day.

Jonbon surely should be too good for any in the Tingle Creek. I’m not about to take 1/3 though

Apologies this is very late this week, it’s been one of those weeks as they say.

    Week 3 Update

Hands up all those daft enough to reject Jonbon :bye: Yep, he was the
horse to be on in week 3 and kept Just Mulling Around at the head of affairs
(51.30 points) taking the Tingle Creek in style. JMA added another 22.20
points for the most popular horse, El fabiolo who took the Hilly Way Chase at
Cork. A splendid total at this stage of 196.35 points is to be admired from us
staring upwards. Top notch sir :yahoo:

FF91 could have been accused of looking over JMA’s shoulder, or vice versa, as
he also keeps the challenge up with Jonbon and El Fabiola and in doing so moves
up from 3rd to 2nd. Nice move FF 163.67 points :good:

Red Jumpers jumps up 2 places from 5th to 3rd with, would you believe, Jonbon
and El Fabiolo. I think we’re going to run up a good few similar doubles.
    158.75 points :good:

Green’s gallopers jumps on the Jonbon El Fabiolo bandwagon which doesn’t do
them any harm rising 3 places from 7th to 4th. They’re not letting you get
away with it this week JMA. I think this pairing could be a big factor in
who rises to the top 157.17 points :good:

Beginning to sound like Alan Freeman here, up from number 9 to number 5 pop
pickers, it’s Madison Wonderland with, you’ve guessed it, Jonbon and El Fabiolo.
Seems dead easy at times this game. 148.07 points :good:

Yellowbog Stables is another with a double, but Jonbon is not one of them. They
have to settle for 43.46 points with El Fabiolo and Stay away fay (21.73 points)
who had to dodge the riderless The Changing Man but kept on well to get the better
of Giovinco. Despite a decent enough double and a total of 147.95, it’s a drop of
    4 places, 2nd to 6th for Yellowbog.

Goodfellow has us back on the same old same old with Jonbon and El Fabiolo, good
enough for a rise of 3 places to 7th and a total of 146.55 points. Nobody is getting
to run away with it this week and Goodfellow keeps in the hunt with 146.55 points :good:

It’s just dawned on me that if I’d said “the following all had Jonbon and Elfabiolo”
I could have been on to my 2nd dram by now. Anyway, keeping with the big boys and jumping
3 places to 8th with the score of 146.55 is Jas’s Jumpers :good:

With Edantony, I refer to the above stable and a rise of 3 places to 9th spot with a
    total of 145.47 points.

Finally, or as far as I’m going, Moley Racing rises 3 spots to 10th with a very respectful
145.45 points with the same deadly duo. Well done to Moley Racing into the top 10 :good:

Quite a few more with Jonbon and El Fabiolo and no doubt more points to come from that
    pair.

Competitive cards at Cheltenham and Doncaster at the weekend, although not too many of
the big guns out and about. Good luck to all having a punt or if you have one or two
that have sneaked in from the stables.

    Week 4 Update

Only one horse made any difference to the placings in the TRF league and that
was Protectorat who was 3rd in a h’cap last Saturday. It scored 2.60 and therefore
only caused a minor ripple with about half a dozen having him in their stable.
Nonetheless it saw Green’s Gallopers nudge up a place to 3rd. well done Green’s,
it wasn’t a whopping score but he has speculative entries in the Ryanair (33/1)
and the Gold Cup (66/1). I think he would need to come on a ton being realistic,
but you never know. Another Norton’s Coin could be in the offing. Edging closer
    Green’s, keep it up :good:

Goodfellow was the only other mover in the top 10, moving up from 7th to 5th.
It shows how tight it is in the top 10 when 2.60 points can cause a move of
2 places. Nice one Goodfellow and as I keep saying, all points could be crucial
come Grand National day. He could be a useful addition :good:

So a few days of not spectacular racing although a decent card at Ascot on
Saturday. The long walk hurdle has a few horses of interest in certain stables
and it will be a tough race to pick the winner with the likes of Champ, Crambo,
    Dashel Drasher and Paisley Park.

Tuesday has the big one, the King George and as I have Bravemensgame in just
about every competition I’m hoping he goes well. Allaho is capable of putting
    them all in their place.

Whatever your backing or whatever you have in your stable I wish you the
very best of luck and have a great Christmas and New Year :good:

    Weeks 5.6 and 7 Update.

The holidays took a bit of a toll on my reporting, Dunoon/Oxford/London/Stratford/Dunoon.
and my health to be honest. Didn’t quite make it back on the last journey without an
enforced holiday in Penrith. Anyway, lived to tell the tale so playing catch-up. I’ll
try to report week to week, but no Guarantees

A complete change at the top in the past couple of weeks with Moley Racing making an
impressive move from 10th to top with their stable in full swing. Galopin Des Champs
took the savills Chase at Leopardstown (53.80 points) on the 28th with Gerri Colombe
neading a telescope to sight him at the end, but still worth 13.02 points. State Man
landed a win at the same course a day later (whip not required) for a further 26.40
points. Gaelic Warrier added 27.50 points at Limerick, and the machine that is Constitution
Hill strolled to a win in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton (27.20 Points). Bravemansgame
again found one too good (getting to be a habit) in the King George but picked up 13.70
points anyway. Finally Marine Nationale looked like Barry Connell could have the proverbial
“monster” on his hands when he made it 6 in a row in a beginners Chase at Leopardstown and
looks like (we’ve heard this before) a banker in the Arkle. This stable could be a winner
    Total 319.37 :yahoo:

Jas’s Jumpers over the same period had the same as Moley racing with the exception of
Marine National. A total of 308.17 points. A very impressive move from 8th to 2nd. That
leaves only 11 points between 1st and 2nd. very well done Jas :good:

Edantony was another with Galopen Des Champs, Stateman, Constitution Hill and added Irish
Point (28.00 points) for a total of 307.59 and a move from 8th to 3rd. So that transforms
the top 3 since my last mark up (if you can remember it) Edantony is never far away so 3rd
place is no surprise. Total points 307.59 :good:

Red Jumpers is one of the few who managed to hold their ground with a few of those already
mentioned, Galopin Des Champs, Slate Man, Constitution Hill and Bravemansgame. One that
doesn’t feature above is Ballyburn who looks a real find and I think 14/1 is pretty generous
for the Supreme Novices Hurdle. A total of 305.07 and one winner away from the top spot :good:

Green’s Gallopers, despite dropping from 3rd to 5th, didn’t do a lot wrong with Galopen Des
Champs, Slate Man, Constitution Hill and also Grangeclare West who breezed up 2 out and didn’t
even have to get in to top gear to win like a really good horse. He’s as short as 3/1 for the
Brown Advisory Novices Chase. I reckon that’s pretty short when we’re still the best part of
3 months away from the festival. He’s top notch though green, every chance there :good:
    Total Points 299.67

Goodfellow rattled in a foursome, all mentiond above and yet dropped a place to 6th. It shows
you how competitive this TRF League has become. I see you have A Dream To Share in your stable.
He bruised his foot standing on a stone and missed his intended hurdling debut having won 5 NH
Flat races on the trot. He could be outstanding. Keep it going Goodfellow :good:
    Total points 297.75

FF91 sees themselves drops 5 places from 2nd to 7th despite having a foursome, Galopen Des Champs,
Slate Man Constitution Hill and Ballyburn. A good haul nevertheless and a total of 283.27 Points.
Three of the heavyweights above and also Fact To File who simply ran the opposition into the ground.
It will take a good one to beat him at Cheltenham. Total points 283.27

Madison Wonderland had the 4 Big Ones mentioed in most stabless, plus Fact To File. The last mentioned
I think is going to have the points rolling in. It’s a drop of 2 places to 8th for Madison which seems
very harsh considering they have an excellent stable. Well done Madison despite the slight fall.
    Total points 281.87

At my last summing up, albeit a 3 weeks ago, Just Mullin Along was leading the way forward and
although they had the excellent State Man, Constitution Hill aand Bravemans Game (2nd) it wasn’t
sufficient to keep them on top of the heap. The lack of the likes of Galopin Des Champs, Gaelic
Warrier and maybe Marine Nationale did the damage. You have an excellent stable JML and there’s
a long way to go so no reason why you can’t get back up there. Total 276.67 points

Man Superstars managed to get themselves into the top 10 by jumping from 13th. That foursome that
seems so important at this stage, Galopin Des Champs, State Man, Constitution Hill and to some
extent Bravemansgame was enough to get MS into 10th place. Total 270.87 points. Well done :good:

So that’s the top 10 but enough movement in the rest to give hope of better things to come, such
as It’s a brave Mans Game with a jump of 6 from 22nd to 16th. Another 6 place mover was Jac’s Dark
Angels from 23rd to 17th. Both going the right way. Two very good stables and I’ll stick my neck out
and say they haven’t finished rising yet. Great stuff guys :good:

It’s Cheltenham tomorrow and a host of horses many a stable will be willing to win. Personally, and
I know Jac too, will be hoping to see Stage Star lumping 12st to victory in the Paddy Power New Year
    Handicap.

Whatever you’re on I wish you the best of luck and a happy and healthy New Year :good:

    Week 8 Update

Not a lot to report over the last week, but a good one for The Maple Stirrups
who haven’t lost their bottom spot but a good winner in Captain Teague who always
had the upper hand in the Challow Novices Hurdle at newbury. A good bit of relief
for TMS (29.30 points) which nearly doubles their score up to 65.62. Could this be
the start of a reviaval?, there’s certainly time left to push up that table and
he’ll go to Cheltenham either the Ballymore or the Albert Bartlet, depending on
ground conditions. Definitely not without hope there. 20s is best you can get
for either, and he put in a terrific run in 3rd behind 2 real hotpots, A Dream
To Share and Fact To File in the Champion Bumper at last year’s Festival.
The only one to unearth this little gem, and top scorer this week. I hope that
plenty of good lies ahead, well done TMS :yahoo:

A few (very few) of us picked up some scraps here and there. Green’s Gallopers
must have been gutted when Classic Getaway couldn’t do the business in the
Savills New Year’s Day Chase at 2/5. He looked like he was simply playing with
them and cruised into the lead only to tie up in the last 100 yards. 1.10 points,
but it could be crucial by April. The one to take out of it in that race must be
Minella Crooner, who with 2 to go was about the length of Sauchiehall Street
behind the front 2, but at the line was beaten just over a length. It’s a case
of where will he go at the Festival. He’s down for the Ballymore (66/1) the
Turner Novice Chase (50/1) and The Kim Muir (14/1) although not many prices
out for that one. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a horse make up so much ground
in the space of 2f. Keep an eye on him.

Ray’s Rockets picked up 1.90 points for Thedevilscoachman who chased home the
odds-on Sir Gerhard at Punchestown on hogmanay. That wasn’t a bad effort and
being one of JP’s I’ve scoured the market at the Festival and can find no trace
of him entered anywhere. If he does appear he might just be the type that JP
flings in under the radar and would be worth the watching.

Finally, I must have missed one of mine last time as I’m 12.50 points up, which
fits in with Jerico Du Reponet’s win at Newbury on the 30th. He’s favourite for
the Supreme Novice Hurdle and although I like him a lot I’m not sure 11/2 is
terrific value. I think they have included the JP factor in his price.

So that’s it, no change at the top, or anywhere in the league for that matter

Well to be honest I don’t see anything to get the pulses racing this weekend.
Looks like another case of “stand by your beds” as far as the TRF League goes.
It just gives you all the more time to study up for Cheltenham, that’s if you’ve
got half a clue as to where they are running, and don’t even mention Willie
    Mullins

    Weeks 9 + 10 update

Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun (and even when you’re not) so
    it’s a 2 week catch up

The weather has caused a bit of a lull so unless you had L’Homme Presse
or Allaho today maybe not a lot of movement.

Moley Racing didn’t have either in their stable and stayed on their mark
from 2 weeks ago. That was enough to keep them at the head of affairs.
Not a lot else can be said but keep hanging on up there MR. 319.17 points

Dito Jas’s Jumpers 308.17 points and Edantony 307.59 points and they
stay in their 2nd and 3rd places.

Red Jumpers stays in 4th with 306.57, which is very slightly
up from 305.07 2 weeks ago. Why?, I have no idea. One of the
    mysteries of the Tote.

Greens Gallopers stay in 5th having remained on 300.77 points

The first move in the top 10 is Just Mullin Along who didn’t
have to sweat any watching Allaho romp home on the bridle. A
nice move from 9th to 6th. He looks a pretty good shout for
the Ryanair at 5/2 fav. Well done JMA :good: 297.87

Goodfellow drops down a place to 7th staying on the same mark
as 2 weeks ago 297.75 points

FF91 remains 8th with no change and 283.27 points Madison Wonderland
is another on no change, but drops a place to 9th 281.87 points.

The final top 10 place is taken by Michael Walsh, who was another who
could relax as Allaho sauntered home. A one place jump up for Michael
who is one to watch as a previous winner. 281.27 points. Great stuff
    michael :good:

Outside of the top 10 3 stables picked up some valuable points. Inthestream
moves up from 18th to 15th with Allaho and Numpty Plays The Jumps also picks
up points with Allaho but remains in 25th whilst Barrow raiders still has the
weight of the league on their shoulders despite picking up 12.83 points with
L’Homme Presse. Well done to all 3 of you :good:

I can’t seem to get the list of who’s running at the Cheltenham Trials day next
Saturday (if the weather is good to us), but I’d have to suspect there would be
a few of interest to the league should show their hand.

Best of luck this week if any of yours show up. I reckon they would rather stay
in the stable with the heating turned up.

    Week 11 (bit of 12)

Just a mini update before the big weekend at Dublin which should shake
    the league about a bot

Very little movement in the top 10, apart from FF91 who moves from
7th to 4th and Michael Walsh who moves into the top 10 in 6th
    place from 11th.

Everyone in the top ten had State Man and Jonbon so they sort of
cancelled each other out. FF91 also had Ballyburn who won at
Leopardstown (12.20 points) whilst Michael had Ashroe Diamond
(23.95 points) who won at Doncaster. Well done to both of you guys :good:

Update Week 13 (and the last bit of 12)

FF91’s stable is absolutely flying. A move up from 7th to 4th last week, but a nap hand
sees FF head straight to the top of the leaderboard :yahoo:

FF’s mighty 5 winners were Galopin Des Champs (51.20 points) who looks pretty much unbeatable
at the moment putting a very decent Fastorslow in his place in the Irish Gold Cup. 2nd up was
Slate Man (51.30 points) who sauntered home in the Irish Champion Hurdle. I can’t wait to see
the rematch between Constitution Hill and Slate Man in the Champion Hurdle. I don’t think there
will be 9L between them this time, as good as CH is I think SM is a stronger horse this year.

3rd up is El Fabiolo who looks like the Champion Chase is his for the taking after his Dublin
Chase (27.30 POINTS) win at Leopardstown. Willie Mullins reckons there would be nothing between
EF and Dinoblue who chased him home in 2nd. I doubt the pair will meet though as it looks odds
on that Willie Mullins will keep the pair apart with Dino going for the Mares’ Chase at the Festival
albeit he has an entry in the Champion Chase.

Next was Ballyburn (28.10 points) another Leopardstown winner for Mullins, he looked different
class to the rest and is as short as 7/4 for the Supreme. Willie Mullins could clean up in the
big races at Cheltenham with I reckon the strongesst camp he has ever headed over to Cheltenham
    with.

Last of the big 5, and a Bit of a shock here, this one is not trained by Mullins. Nicky Henderson
looks to have sorted whatever ailed Shishkin, winner of the Denman Chase at Newbury (22.93 points),
and has got him back on the Gold Cup running. At his best he could be a danger to GDC.

What a blistering run over the last couple of weeks FF, 180.83 points. Absolutely outstanding sir :yahoo:

Moley Racing must be wondering what they have to do to hold on to that top spot. Having landeed 4
out of the 5 that FF had, Galopin Des Champs, Slate Man, El Fabiolo and Shishkin. A superb 152.73
points on anyother week would surely be enough, and it is a superb score, so very well done :good:

Red Jumpers 1 jumps up a couple of places from 5th to getting his foot on the podium in 3rd place.
A very nice foursome of Galopin Des Champs, State Man, El Fabiolo and Ballyburn. Another mouth
watering score, 157.90 points. I knew this was going to be the week that would shake up the league
and you certainly added to that Jumpers. Right in the hunt :good:

Pricewise should be quaking in his shoes, because it’s another nap hand this time from Madison
Wonderland. Four have already benn mentioned and scored, Galopin Des Champs, State Man, El Fabiolo
and Shishkin, but add to that Fact to File (26.70 points), another Mullins one on his way to
Cheltenham, which all adds up to another incredible score of 179.43 points and a huge jump from
11th to 4th position. Brilliant stuff Madison :good:

Jas’s Jumpers had a nice trio of GDC, State Man and El Fabiolo, a total of 129.80 points, but
with the competition fierce this week it means a drop of 3 places from 2nd to 5th. Still bang
in there Jas and a long way to go.

Part 1. I didn’t realise there were so many outstanding results, I’ll finish Part 2 later today,
    honest :mail:

    Prt 2

It’s not often this happens but everyone below the 10 spot stayed exactly in their places from last
week, many having a combination of the big 3, GDC, State Man and EF.

This weekend has a few of interest to the league and some good racing from Wincanton, Haydock and
Ascot. In the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton Paul Nicholls has the fav with Ribaud, but will the
real Goshen (also has an entry at Ascot) stand up. He’s talented and could run away with this.

Ascot seems to be the place to be on Saturday and the big race is the Betfair Ascot Chase looks
a cracker even although it only has 5 runners. The Brilliant L’Homme Presse tries to show the
kind of form that would have him in contention for the Gold Cup. Pic D’Orhy is no pushover but
I think that Ahoy Senor is an underrated horse. If he shows his form from the Cotswold Chase he
would be in the mix. If he has Gold Cup aspirations he would probably need to win this. Seeing as
I have a huge priced Ante Post on him for the Gold Cup I’d be quite happy if he did.

So that’s it for this week (and a bit) I hope your Stables have some decent runs and if you have
any punts on then best of luck :good:

I’ll add the TTTF scores at the moment.
