Thanks for the update; I need to redeem myself here because my TRF Ten To Follow is looking abysmal!

Mine is not much better Tony, and I’m not even off the mark in
this one yet. However we’ve got a long way to go and we can hope
    for better

You’re off to a decent start here and as you’ve just having taken
the Gold as winner of the flat competition, I think they should be
looking over their shoulder at a TTTF league champion, Best of luck
    mate :good:

I should have pointed out, that the 25 quid runner up prize
is sponsered by none other than our very own runner up of
last year’s TTTF Jumps Compy, ep1987 (Edantony) who very
kindly donated it for this year’s runner up. Very nicely
    done Tony :good:

    Hello to everyone

I have just returned from another “Holiday” at Stafford Hospital
and are trying to get back into the swing of the day to day news.

BigG I have seen the free bet for £7.00 on the Fantasy Racing is available
to use on my Tote Account and I am wondering if you have also got a Free Bet
and what plans you may have if so.

Looking forward to this weekend with lots of top horses running both here and
    in Ireland.

    Many Thanks :bye:

Yes I stuck in the free bet John, not sure if there is a time limit,I didn’t
spot it if there is. I actually think it’s a decent bet for 7 quid, you can
lose a couple of races, and still come up the winner. The thing is all horses
have a price tag on them, you’ve only got 10,000 guineas to spend so you couldn’t
just pick, for example Constitution Hill and Honeysuckle, they would be 5,000
each. It suits me as I’m not a favs man. I’ve only tried it the once, my free
one, but that was the day half the fields pulled out so it was a bit of a mess.
I think the top 25% get a return and the winner on a Saturday would bag more than
a grand. I’m not sure how much the winner would get during the week, unless it was
a big meeting, but still a good return for 7 quid I’d reckon (no I’m not on commission,
although I’m open to offers  )

I’m going to try it on Saturday and I’ll report back :good:

    Hello again

BigG My Free Bet expired today 25/11/2022 so I have entered the Fantasy Competition
for Newbury to use it in time.

I would have liked to have used it for Saturday at Newbury and will consider paying
for an entry if all goes well with today.

    Many Thanks
    John :good:

    on it’s last day

Hope Saturday goes well for you too, I’ll be having a go :good:

Cheers John, I kind of gave up hope after a few not quite right results, but I started
the day with £3 spare (after placing my £7 Fantasy bet) but still ened up ith £14. This
seems a reasonable bet to be honest. I’ll have another go on Saturday, see how that goes
    and give an update.

My apologies about my very late report and the briefness of this report. I’ve
just had the kind of week you don’t expect to have and the future is unclear
at the moment. However, that’s life and here is a brief resume of the week.

Galaxys Gallopers 4 Held his lead by adding Constitution Hill who looks an exciting
horse the way he won the Fighting Fifth with ease. Without doubt the most popular horse
in the league, and the 27.35 helped to keep him at the top of the heap. Hanging in well
    Galaxy, well done :good:

The stable that made most inroads to the league was our own Bobby (VTC) whose stable,
To Madeira, ran up a terrific double with Constitution Hill,27.35, and Champ, 23.78
A near miss with Remastered, who was only beaten by a very decent fav0urite in Le Milos
in the Coral Gold Cup. Nonetheless he still added 15 Points for a terrific total 66.13
Points and overall 77.53. Great week for you Bobby :good:

Green’s Gallopers didn’t add to their tally, but the 72.32 from the previous week kept
them firmy on the podium in 3rd place.

Plenty of other movement up the league but I’m going to leave it there this week.

Galaxys Galopers has a decent lead, but so much time to catch up.

If any of you read the Meydan Thursdays thread you might understand
why I’ve not got round to updating this week. For those of you who haven’t,
I’ve had a rather poorly wife and been back and forward at hospital.

I’ll do a proper update on Monday but I can say that the top 2, Galaxys
Gallopers 4 and To Madeira have held their places at the top of the league,
with To Madeira narrowing the gap, less than 20 points between them.

Nathan, Blackbeards Barmy Army has continued his climb up the league to
sit behind the top 2. Great couple of weeks for you Nathan :good:

I also clocked that Numpty Goes Jumping and Blade’s Bounders have rattled up
from 9th to 4th and 11th to fifth. Well done guys :good:

Apologies I’m short on horsey identification and scores, but I’ll
do a double round up on Monday. Best of luck at the weekend :good:

Sorry for another delay, the same problems exist with the Mrs. Hopefully
they will inject into the right nerve this time  next week and
    things should be better.

Change at the top as To Madeira gets the upper hand as Energumene
takes the Hilly Way Chase at Cork with consummate ease. 21.10 Points
pushes To Madeira into top spot. Well done Bobby, you could do with
that trip in this weather. Well Done :good:

Galaxys Gallopers has a blank and moves to the No. 2 spot.

Numpty goes jumping, again courtesy of Energumene nips past Nathan
(Blackbeards Barmy Army) into third spot.

In fact no less than 15 had Energumene landing 21.10 Points.
Well done to all there :good:

Not much else going on last week and it looks as if the weather
will scupper us all for this week so all on hold.

At least there’s no excuse for getting out there for the Christmas
shoping. Let’s hope the weather relents for the Christmas meetings,
it won’t be the same without the King George on Boxing Day.

I wish all of you a very merry, happy and healthy Christmas and

Apologies that on my part commentry has been thrown together a bit
this yearthroughonething and another. My wife is isolated in Hospital
and I’misolating at my sister’s. It’s been basic and I normally run
on like a drain. I’ts just too difficult just now but I can manage basic.

Galaxys Gallopers get the drop on To Madeira at the top of the neaderboard
with Galopin Des Champs (27.25) in the John Durken at Punchestown pm Sunday.
He looks,as they say, “a monster” and won ,as he should, 7 lbs well in from
the 2nd and any amount the other 2. But an 18L win without even tickling the
sticklooked awesome. He’ going to rack up some points GG, no doubt about it.
    welldone :good:

Hanging in in 2nd placce Bobby despite a blank week, can’t be bad :good:

Numpty Goes Jumping also holds on the 3rd spot with a similar boost from
    Galopin Des Champs(27.25 points)

As would be expected with mpst racing off at weekend a lot stood there ground
with quite a few beneffiting from GDC.

I hope you have a very merry Christmass and a Wonderful, happy and very very healthy
    new year

Christmas has been good to Numpty Goes Jumping, who with a treble
of Bravemansgame (55.35), the fabulous Constitution Hill (27.25)
and Facile Vega (27.30) to take the jump from 3rd place to top spot.
Plenty more coming from that trio John, you’ve been moving up
that leaderboard relentlessy week after week. Great team you’ve
got there and 109.09 points. Well done, great week :yahoo:

Alright Blades Bounders, that’s just taking the p*ss now.
Numpty may be at the top now, but jumping 5 places, from 7th
to 2nd, with a nap hand of Bravesmansgame, Constitution Hill,
Facile Vega, Complete Unknown at FFos Las and El Fabiolo at
Fairyhouse. That’s the kind of week that can turn the league
upside down, and all but did that taking the 2nd spot.
Amazing few days Bladesbounder, and you most certainly
deserve one of these for 136.18 points :yahoo:

Despite having Constitution Hill, Galaxy’s Gallopers slips
a little to 3rd. Plenty of time to recover GG and still
    sitting inthe box seat. :good:

Bobby (To Madeira) despite having a decent brace with
Constitutional Hill and Remastered, it wasn’t enough
to hold his position. Remastered was one I’d considered
Bob, but like afew others that drifted off, I left him out.
More fool me. Well done :good:

Another to make a mighty leap up the leaderboard was Jac,
(Dark Angels) 15th to 7th with that treble of Bravemansgame,
Constitutional Hill and Facile Vega. 109.09 points is just
the way to do it. Superb :yahoo:

Plenty of others with Constitutional Hill and Bravemansgame.
Both superb horses and I was a bit sick to see Charlie
Deutsch ship out sideways after the last on La Homme Presse.
He was never going to trouble Bravemansgame, but I would have
been happy enough to settle for the 2nd place points. Anyway,
Cheltenham to come and maybe he might improve for the run.

Plenty of good racing at Leopardstown tomorrow and no doubt
a fine duel between Gaillard Du Mesnil and Three Stripe Life.

Hermes Allan has a fav’s chance in the Coral Challow Novices’
Hurdle at Cheltebhan on Sunday. Personally I think Trytonic is
    a big price at 25/1.

Good luck whever you are on and it couldbe all change again

You just can’t keep a good man down and Conflated’s run in the Savills
Chase at Leopardstown, with 54.30 points (and a couple from Frodon)
is enough to push Bobby (To Madeira) up from4th to the top. The Ryanair
or the Gold Cup Bobby, that’s the quandry that Elliot (or Gigginstown)
has. I think the further he went the better he went. Great pick and back
on top again :yahoo: 311.97 Points

Numpty goes Jumping had a blank week, well not exctly but his win with
Facile Vega was rolled into last week’s late update (a bit like this
week) . A drop down one to 2nd sees you sitting just on the
shoulder John, I’ve a feeling this is going to be a tight league. 278.41
    Points

Blade Bounders has the same problem as John, same score as last week,
but still on the podium down 1 in 3rd place with 268.86.

Galaxys Gallopers had the same fate as me with Stolen Silver. That 5lbs
between then was perhaps the difference, but he ran a crcking race
nonetheless. I don’t know where he’ll end up at Cheltenham, perhaps the
Plate Willie Hills is the only 1 to go NRNB, but I thnk we could get better
than the 12s they re offering, 16s elsewhere at the moment. I think I’ll
    wait a bit. 265.35 Points

Slate man was a cracking winner for Edantony (27,80 Points) and has him
climbing back up the greasy pole from 12th to 8th. That was a good move
in a week when many stables stood still Tony. Well done 207.42 Points :good:

Goodfellow was another to benefit from State Man (27.80 Points) and a
decent move of 15th to 10th. Thequestion is will he take on Constitution
Hill or will he duck him and head for the Stayers Hurdle. The furthest
he’s gone is 2m 3 1/2f at Punchestown, but he could have won that having
a fag and and texting the filly of his fancy for an evening tete a tete.
Like Tony, you both have latched on to a potential star and I’d say that
3m would be no inconvenience to him. Big points ahead :good:

TRF RR77 latched onto a big one this week and picked up 54.30 Points for
Conflated’s Savills Chase at Leopardstown. That’s this week’s highest
jump from anyone, 18th to 12th. Great week Rummy, very well done mate :good:
    187.85 Points.

That pretty much sums up the changes from last week. The Tolworth at Sandown
looks the race of the weekend. It looks like the 3 who should have it between
them are Authorised Speed, Tahmuras and Arctic Bresil. Personally, having watched
severel reruns of them all,Tahmuras is the one that cathes my eye. He did reach
5/2 but 7/4 is the best at the moment. If he hits 2s or above, I’m in. He’s
NRNB with Hills forthe Ballymore, but the 14s seems a bit scrooge like at this
time of the year. I’ve taken the 33s with Skybet. He’s also in the Supreme, but
I can’t see himbeating the fav. But then gain, what do I know

Good luck this week all, I hopeyou had a great Christmas and New Year :good:

Since the last update, the league, on a pretty dire few days
racing, scored a big fat zero. It’s not surprising as the quality
on show wasn’t really the type of thing that would have you drooling
at the mouth. So No change, To Madeira retains his top place. Mind
you, It could have been different Bobby if you had stuck in the
50/1 shot, Wishing And Hoping who you tipped and duly won the Veterans
Chase at Sandown. No points, but I’ll bet your bank balance is doing better.
    Well done mate :good:

Having looked over this week’s offerings, it’s pretty thin on the ground,
but I will be shouting on Imagine for Blades Bounders who runs at Clonmel
on Thursday. Barring a last fence mistake Blade, I think you would have had
a winner last time out at Gowran Park and he put up another valiant show in
2nd at Navan. I reckon he’s improving and will take all the beating. Good
    luck :good:

If I’ve missed anyone out, although I don’t think I have, my apologies and
    best of luck :good:

From a punting point of view Kempton has the most interesting couple of
races with the Grade 2 Silviniaco Conti Chase (decent spud that he was).
Angels Breath was a decent sort, but it will be a miracle if Sam Twiston-Davies
can have him fit after 1121 days off (stranger things have happened) I quite
like the look of Saint Calvados (11/2) even with David Maxwell on him.

I suppose the big punting race of the weekend will be the Lanzarote Hurdle.
I’ve got a thing about Green Book, despite having my fingers burned more than
once, I just think he’s going to come up with a big one. He had a wind surgery
and came out after 263 days off at Chepstow. He travelled really well and was
still in contention when he tired with 3 to go. Charlie Deutsch was “very” tender
on him after that point and I thinkit gave him enough of a race to have him bang
on here. 20/1 seems a bit of value to me.

    Good luck this week :good:

Well as expected, not a single point was earned by any stable
last week. Not even Blades Bounders with Imagine, as unfortunately
for them Clonmel was abandoned. No change in the order of the league.

Certainly a very good chance of some movement this weekend. The clarence
House may be short of numbers, but the meeting of the 2 favs for the QMCC,
Energumene and Edwardstone at Ascot could make a huge dent in the betting
at the Festival. Plenty in here with interests in both.

If Molly Ollys Wishes wants to put a dent in the 50/1 that’s on offer
in the Mares’ Hurdle at the Festival, she would surely have to win this
Mares’ Hurdle at Ascot. Coming from even further back, at 66/1, for
the Cheltenham race is Indefatigable who would need to return to the
kind of form which saw he going well and in contention when falling
at the Mares’ Hurdle last year.

There’s a few trying to get into top form for Cheltenham, and Epatante
would have to win here and win well to knock down her 20/1 odds. Problem
is that time isn’t on his side at 9years. He was top notch in his day,
but that day may be behind him now. Having said that, if he wins this by
    a street then who knows.

A few questions should be answered over the weekend and although Facile
Viga seems to be everyones idea of nap of the Festival (or one of them)
in the Supreme, it will be interesting to watch Rare Edition, who doesn’t
seem to know the meaning of defeat, in the Novice race run earlier on the
card. The 16/1 might look awful big if he continues in the same vein.

I don’t think it will have much bearing on Cheltenham, but the Peter
Marsh Chase at Haydock is an interesting and wide open race. There
won’t be a dry eye in the house if that old stalwart, Bristol De Mai
gets his head 1st past the post. It’s his course, his distance and
his ground, but has old father time caught up with him. Clearly NTD
doesn’t think so or he wouldn’t throw him in here. I’d love to see
it, and if he’s still there at the last you wont need a megaphone
to hear Jac (triptych) shouting him home. I’ll be doing the base
    section.

Frodon will have a pre Festival run round Taunton on Saturday. He
should go well here, but surely the Gold Cup is a race too far. He’s
11 now and owes them nothing. if he were mine I’d be making sure he
had the chance of a hapy retirement (same could be said of BDM)

The best of luck to all and please not lets have a sad Saturday when
    it just wasn’t needed.

I’m away for this and next week,so this is going to be short.

No changes at the top but a few picked up some handy points.

Edantony, Michael Welsh, Mickey’s Mayhem and myself (BigG1)
picked up 24points for Fakir D’Oudries win at Thurles. He might
have been a tad lucky to be honest with the leader falling at the
last, but sometimes it goes for you, others not. Anyway, that makes
the 4 of us top scorers this week, so we might as well slap each
    other on the back. :good:

Jac (Dark Angels) and Goodfellow both had Sir Gerhard, who only had
2 to beat at Gowran Park, but won it as you would expect a 1/6 shot
to do. An easy 11.10 points too both of you. Well done :good:
