Any idea why Luxembourg hasn’t been awarded any points following his win in the Coronation Cup on Friday ? I’ve tried to ask the Tots but I just get their bot …🤦🏻

Good Morning – I hope that all is well with everyone.

    BigG and Inthestream

I am waiting for an e-mail about the Points for Luxembourg.

Clearly it is a mistake and I am sure the Points will be added.

    Many Thanks :good: :bye:

Cheers John. Thanks. I’m amazed that with just 2 days done and barely a handful of winners, the Tote can omit 20% of the scores ….(albeit a single horse)? Is it human error or rubbish bots ? Either way, I despair … 🤦🏻

    Hello again – Inthestream

Message from the tote to say that the Points for
Luxembourg have now been added. Not sure about
why they where not added but they have apologised
    for the lateness.

    Many Thanks :good: :bye:

    Week 1 (and a weekend)

Money For Nothing (I’ve told you your chicks aren’t guaranteed ) has landed an eary
double. The Derby winner City of Troy (55.65pts) will have a few supporters understandably
but equally quite a few of you have gone for the Oaks winner Ezeliya (59.60pts) MFN fortunately
had both and Los Angeles added 2.35 for a great starting week of 117.60 points. All you have to
do now MFN, is to hold on until 19th of October. It’s as easy as that
    Brilliant start Money :yahoo:

Inthestream had a different double with City of Troy and the winner of the Coronation Cup,
Luxembourg (29.85 pts). A total of 85.50 points is a very solid start. Well done mate :good:

My good mate John Gooch, who puts up half the winner’s prize as there will be no runner-up
prize (less than 20 stables) has got off to a good start and takes the 3rd spot with his Numpties.
Eziliya and Los Angeles were John’s double and will no doubt add to his tally as the competition
grogresses. Delighted to see a strong start from you John, best of luck (61.95 pts) :good:

Michael Walsh is never far away in this competition and as a previous winner he’s got off
to another strong start with the same double as John Gooch, Eziliya and Los Angeles. Mickey
is joint 3rd and definitely one to watch. :good:

FF91 Had the sole winner Ezilya so sits handily in 5th spot with as mentioned before, 59.60 pts.
I reckon this could be one of the crucial horses in the competition. Well done having her in
    your stable FF :good:

It’s a 3 way ties for 6th spot with Neil’s Flat out, To Madeira and……no, it can’t be,
it’s ME, Onthebridle. Well done to Neil and Bobby (To Madeira) but this is nose bleed
territory for me. I don’t think I’ve ever been that high up the league. I’ll bask in the
glory of it whilst it lasts (probably 1 week) oh, we all picked City Of Troy who finally
came good. Form a huddle and pat each other on the back :rose:

Jac’s Dark Angels had to settle for a couple of places with Dance Sequence (14.40 pts)
runner-up in the Oaks and Los Angeles 3rd in the Derby (2.35 pts). Both decent runs Jac
and I’m certain they will get their heads in front before long (16.75 pts) and good
    enough for 9th spot :good:

The 10th spot was shared by 4 stables, Threenaps, Man Superstars, Aiden And Abetting and
Pointsofclass all with the Derby 3rd Los Angeles 2.35 pts.

As for the weekend There are some competitive handicaps at York Chester and Sandown, but I
don’t think you’re going to get any of the big guns out with Royal Ascot just around the
corner. I don’t envisage after the weekend that there will be much to write home about, but
from the following Tuesday through to the weekend, it could be all change with a host of big
guns taking each other on at Ascot.

All the best of luck :good:

    Weeks 2, 3 and 4

Apologies for being a bit behind, I had my son and his partner
and my grandson up staying with me. I hadn’t seen them for some
time so was making the most of it.

Neil’s Flat Out hasn’t been hanging about the last couple of weeks
and jumps from J6th right to No.1. A great performance by Rosallion
in the St James Papace Stakes netted 54.90 pts and an equally dazzling
performance by Kyprios in the Ascot Gold Cup added another 53.35 pts.
Auguste Rodin didn’t let Neil down in the Price of Wales Stakes worth
53.98. In total 219.23 pts has Neil a good buffer out front. A great
couple of week for you Neil, a terrific stable :yahoo:

Money For Nothing may have been downed off his No.1 perch to the 2nd
spot, but still have the above mentioned Kyprios and Opera Singer,
runner up in the Coronation Stakes (13.60) A total of 184.55 with
a long way to go :good:

FF91 jumped a couple of places to be sitting in 3rd spot courtesy of
Kyprios and Rosellion, mentioned above, for a very handy 3rd spot
with a total of 167.85 pts.

Inthestream drops a place 4th (barely) despite having a nice treble with
Kyprios, Azure Blue (winning a listed race at Ayr), 15.15 pts, and Opera
Singer giving a grand total of 167.60 pts

Michael Walsh slots in at No5 again with Kyprios and als Henry Longfellow
2nd in the St James palace Stakes (13.60pts) and a total of 130.35 points.

Jac’s Dark Angels started to make their presence felt having that very decent
pair Kyprios and Rosallion. That was good enough for a 3 place jump to 6th.
Heading the right way Jac, very well done. Total 125.00

Just keep a look over your shoulder though Jac as that evil B Nathan has his
The Hunters of Witches and Triptych’s aiming to get you on the ducking stool
(no that’s not a misspelling). Rosallion, Kyprios and Henry Longfellow has
him singeing your would be broomstick in 7th place. Total 121.85

Edantony bursts into the top 10 in 8th place with that well worn trio Kyprios,
Auguste Rodin and Opera Singer. I reckon that’s a trio that will score heavily
    in this contest.

Another entry into the top 10 in 9th spot is Numpty Plays The Flat. A nice
looking Inisherin won the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup (54.85) and that boosts
Numpty to a total of 116.80.

I’m delighted to see Bourne Losers getting off to a better start in this competition
and completes the top 10. Kyprios and Inisherin were good winners and a few extra points
(1.35pts)could always come in handy at the other end of the compy. A total of 109.55
keeps Bourne nicely positioned at this stage.

Well that’s your top 10for this week. There might be some interest in Noble Dynasy and
Tiber Flow in the 3.25 at Newmarket but not a lot else of stable interest. The Northumberland
Plate at Newcastle isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I nabbed Onesmoothoperator at 16s and I
think he’s got a good shout.

Best of luck to all this weekend and here sre the scores as per the TTTF Flat scoreboard.

A great Royal Ascot for me, plus a second today. Pity I’d missed it, but had a lovely time on Gran Canaria. Plenty of much needed sunshine, just what the doctor ordered. Don’t think I’ll be there at the end though.

    Weeks 5 and 6

Money For Nothing didn’t take much time to strike back and take the top
spot once again. Two terrific turns he had were City Of Troy in the Coral
Eclipse who had to grind out a result this time which shows he’s not only
a great horse, he’s tough (52.26 pts). Los Angeles finally got his head in
front taking the Irish Derby (54.10 pts) which boosts MFN up to 294.31 :yahoo:

Neil’s Flat Out didn’t do a lot wrong and also had a couple of winners
in City of Troy and Ancient Wisdom winner of the Bahrain Trophy Stakes
(17.50 pts). It only puts Neil a smidgen behind on 290.49 pts. You can’t
come much closer than less than 3 points. :good:

Inthestream moved up one place to take the third spot. He was another who
had the benefit of City Of Troy to raise his tally to 223.26. :good:

Numpty Plays The Flat had Los Angeles on his side and that was sufficient
to raise him from 9th spot to 4th. That was a pretty decisive move Nathan
and resting on 199.10 points. :good:

Dark Angels is creeping up the table from 6th to 5th with Los Angeles and
a 3 pronged Godolphin attack with Ancient Wisdom, Dance Sequence (14.40 pts)
and Mountain Breeze who was runner up in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes
(1.60 pts). Steady move up the league Jac, Well done with 198.20 points :good:

Despite having Los Angeles Michael Walsh drops a place from 5th to 6th although
there is little more than 14 points separating 4th to 6th positions.

FF91 was a little unlucky and had to settle for a couple of places with the
previously mentioned Mountain Breeze and Vandeek who was 3rd at Newmarket
    (1.09 pts)

Aiden and A Betting moves into the top half of the draw from 11th to 8th
with the well followed Los Angeles and the winner of the July Stakes at
Newmarket Whistlejacket (23.40 pts) total points 161.75 pts

That’s the top half of the league so I’ll leave it at that.

Not so many running this weekend that should bother the league but the
£122,000 Weatherbys Super Sprint should be a bit of a spectacle. I fancy
Violet Love a 12/1 shot. Plenty of experience and pace.

Good luck if you’re betting on anything :good:

    Update week 7

I thought going through the leagues there was going to be no change,
with no points won, but a bit lower down the table there were a couple
of shrewdies who grabbed some points on a really hard week.

Edantony moved up a couple of places, from 13th to 11th with the winner
of the Group 3 Hackwood stakes, Elite Status (20 pts) who showed good
speed at the start and dogged determination to hold on to the win by
1/2L at the finish. He could just be the type for the Group 1 Betfair
Sprint Stakes next month. Excellent member of you stable Tony, very
well done. Tally of 143.88 :good:

The only other stable to add to their tally was Threenaps who remains
15th, but obtained some much needed points (17.83 pts) with Diego Velazquez
who had dissapointed in some top notch races but finally scythed down
the field in the Meld Stakes at Leopardstown. Where on earth has the real
DV been before because he looked top class coming wide and leaving them
in his wake, 7L to the 2nd, in a fast time.

Very well done Threenaps, I have no doubts that he is going to get you
some top class points, he looked impressive. Tally of 95.28 pts :good:

Everyone else is still standing by their beds but some decent racing
on Saturday may change all that. O’Brien’s January should improve on
her 3rd last time out where she still looked a bit green when listing
right towards the end. The 7/1 for the Queen Margaret Stakes at Ascot
(1.50pm) looks more than fair. George Boughey’s Bountiful could give
her a run for her money though, Boughey’s horses are running well.

Godolphin has definitely not had the best of seasons but Devoted
Queen is looking for a 4 timer here (2.25 Ascot) and her last race
at York showed she has a bit of class about her.

The big handicap at Ascot, the Noet and Chandon International Stakes
(3pm) is just the type of puzzle I like to get my teeth into. For a change,
Northern Express is not carrying top weight, he’s a favourite of mine
and he won’t be far away. I’m taking the 14/1, I doubt he’ll be that
    on the day.

The race which will involve most stables is the King George VI Qipco
Stakes (3.40pm) has Auguste Rodin, Luxembourg, Rebel’s Romance, Bluestocking
and a host of bigger priced horses who can’t be written off. It should be
    a cracker of a race.

York has some decent racing and try and work out the winner of the Sky
Dash if you dare. Dakota Gold may be 10, but rule him out at your peril,
he likes it here. I would have a fancy for Spangled Mac, he ran really well
at Hamilton last time out, after a long absence, when he tired in the last 1/2f.
Only thing is I think he might go to Ascot so I’m holding back my shekels until
    I know where he’s going.

Whatever you fancy I hope you have good luck and hopefully your stable might
pick up some decent points. All the best :good:

    Great write ups Graham..thank you..
I won’t bother getting my hair done if I’m in for a soaking if Nathan catches me  but hoping to keep my head above water over next week or so.

Does anyone know when we can make a swap? My stable needs a bit of stardust to sprinkle around..⭐️🌟🌟🌟 Jac
