You’re very welcome Jac, 5th place and still in with a chance of the
podium on the last day wasn’t bad at all. I’ll see you in the jumps
in a few weeks
October 22, 2023 at 06:34 #1667723Well done Mickey and Nathan. also thanks to Big G.
I’ll be back next year to try again.
October 22, 2023 at 10:16 #1667742Just want to remind everyone that John Gooch donated his £25 for 2nd place last
year (when we had 20 or more stables) but as we had 17 stables this year, therefore
no 2nd prize, John will be donating half the £50 that goes to Mickey. I’ve kept his
£25 safe to make up half of the winner’s prize. Many thanks to you again John

October 22, 2023 at 12:54 #1667766Thanks BigG for keeping us up to date on this one, I started well but was running backwards at the end.
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.October 22, 2023 at 19:04 #1667826Well done Mickey. Thanks for running and the score updates BigG.
October 22, 2023 at 21:18 #1667831Makes the season for me. Now for the jumps. Not been good at this for a while. Usually mine end up injured. Energueme was first on my list. Thanks again for running the competition. It’s is greatly appreciated. Please donate my share to your preferred racing charity too.
October 23, 2023 at 00:11 #1667841Top man Mickey, that’s a really generous gesture. I’ve sent you
a PM but just to let everyone know it will be greatly appreciated
at The Hillside Animal Sanctuary https://www.hillside.org.uk/
who help discarded and abused retired racehorses amongst other
animals.I’m sure John Gooch, who donated half of the £50 from his
runners up prize last year would approve
October 24, 2023 at 01:12 #1667924Mickey..Thank you so much for donating your prize to charity and to John and Graham for making it possible.

As Graham said, it will do so much to help Hillside continue to rescue abandoned horses and other animals, and also includes ex-racehorses, some as young as two who had been over raced and didn’t make the grade.
Big thank you
Jac.
