Yep hopefully John York might give us a few opportunities to add
a couple that could boost the stable. Pity about Coreobus, he didn’t
run his race at all, something amiss.

**FINAL REMINDER !!! The swap window closes tomorrow (Wednesday 17th)

No change at the top, although the leader Edantony gathers
a further 17.20 points along with Michael Walsh and Numpty
For The Flat with the odds-on Luxembourg just holding on at
the Curragh. Well done guys, he should run up some points
    for you :good:

Gadge’s Nags and Inthestream have caught hold of a really decent
looking one with Inspiral. She looks class and her win at Deauville
added 29.30 points.Nicely done guys, joint highest scorers of the
    week. Well done :good:

Midnight the only other scorer with Boundless Ocean at Leopardstown
(18.90 points) Well done Midnight, precious points on a quiet week :good:

Big week coming up with York starting tomorrow. Plenty of stable interest,

In General it was all about 1 horse last week, Baaeed, who kept
Edantony in the No1 spot with the 52.41 Points.

TRF RR77 keeps his 2nd place, but closes on Edantony with Baaeed
but also Blackbeard, 25.80 points, in the Prix Morney

Well done both of you keeping your places at the top :good:

Only change in the top 3 is with Michael Walsh getting a foot
back on the Podium with Baaeed and Alpanista, 28.80 Points,
the winner of the Yorkshire Oaks. Well done Michael for battling
your way back. Alpanista looks very decent and worth a lot more
    points :good:

Numpty On The Flat also had the same double and pushed into 4th
    place. :good:

Vitually everyone added the 52.41 with Baaeed, but Unbearable
Nathan was the top scorer in the league with the trio of Baaeed,
Mishriff and Blackbeard for a tally of 94.61. Great going Nathan,
only 1 place up the league to 13th but very much going the right way :yahoo:

A very few from the league out over the weekend, but none of the
“big guns”. I don’t see much change over this weekend but best of
luck if you have anything running. :good:

Not a lot to write about this week as nobody scored any points
I don’t expect it will be any different after this weekend.

Probably the St Leger meeting on the 10th will be the next
meeting which could have some changes. Until then it’s very
    much, as you were.

I’ll post up the league just so everyone knows where we are.

Happy punting at the weekend :good:

As anticipated it was a quiet week, with just 2 stables managing
to get some points. Top of the pile was FF91 who landed the Sprint
Cup in style with Minzaal at Haydock, picking up a healthy 31.30
points. FF wasn’t finished there having a 2nd ace up his sleeve
with Mostahdaf, another who pulled right away from the pack in the
September Stakes at Kempton, 23.80 points.

For an otherwise quiet week, 55.10 points eats into the league by a
sizeable chunk and deposes Michael Walsh from 3rd spot. Highest scorer
and most significant mover of the week, 8th to 3rd, puting both feet
firmly on the podium. Superb week FF :yahoo:

One other mover, 13th to 11th, was Natahan who along with FF had the
very impressive Mostadaf and picked up a very nice 23.80 points
thank you very much. He looks like one to follow and most certainly
isn’t the daftest 40/1 shot for the Arc. Good luck with him and well
    done this week Nathan :good:

Doncaster is already underway, some nice racing today but a good bit more
interesting, stable wise, with the Group2 Doncaster Cup on Friday. I’ve
been following Coltrane, even through his lean time last year which was
a bit costly  He’s back to himself this year and I fancy him for
this although he won’t get his own way with Truesham in there as the hot
    odds on favourite.

I love the Portland on Saturday, and if Lord Riddiford were to get in,
and I suspect he will, I think he could be the one, despite the 8lbs lashing
from the handicapper for his win at Goodwood last time out. He came from
near last 2f out, to win fairly cosily I thought. I think the extra 1/2f
    will be to his liking.

The big one of course is the St Leger. I’m not a fav backer as you may know,
but I simply can’t get away from New London and I think the even money with
Betfred is very reasonable. At Goodwood. over 12f last time out, he simply
wore them down coming from behind and going away at the finish. I think the
1m 6f is exactly what he’s looking for. Even money or not he’ll get my money.

There could be a bit of a shake up this week with a few stable horses running.
Very best of luck if you’re on them, or whatever you’re on :good:

Anyone notice that I didn’t put a copy of the scores up
last week after my write up…. no  just as well then

Obviously and understandably things have been moved about this
week, but this weekend saw some seriously good racing at Leopardstown
and Longchamp, and Donny on Sunday had the St Leger. Plenty were on the
favourite, New London, but none on the winner Eldar Eldarov.

Edantony continues his good run, and hangs on to his top spot with
a good winning double, the Irish Leger winner Kyprios, 27.70 points, and
Luxembourg who took the Irish Champion Stakes, 56.55 points, and a further
E/W point (01.50pts) with Royal Aclaim over at Longchamp. All in all it
seems there’s no shifting Edantony from that top spot, with a grand total
of 85.85 points. You’re having a great run and best luck keeping it up :good:

It looked as if Michael Walsh was losing a bit of ground last week, having
been ousted from 3rd place by FF91, who drops to 7th place, but he came
roaring back this week with a tremendous treble, Kyprios, Luxembourg and also
Pearls Galore, 43.05 Points) who landed the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown
on Saturday. Michael tots up a superb 127.30 Points, and is now sitting
not that far off the leader, in 2nd spot.

Highest points scorer this week by some way Michael and you’re now mounting
a serious challenge to Edantony. Very best of luck, top man this week :yahoo:

It seems they all want to get in on the act this week, many had Kyprios, but
Numpty on the flat also Landed Luxembourg and moves into the 3rd place with
a very healthy 84.25 points added. Great double Numpty (that sounds a bit
rude, but I didn’t pick the name  ) and solidly on the podium in
3rd spot. You’ve been heading the right way for some time now NOTF, and
well done reaching the top 3 :good:

Plenty with score in the 30s and 40s, you know who you are so well done
    you :good:

Plenty of good action over the weekend, although not really helping the
League Stables. I’ve only been going over the Ayr Bronze Cup on Friday
and the Silver and Gold Cups on the Saturday seriously for the last few
days, and I’ve still not settled on anything. I love the Ayr Gold Cup
meeting, one of the highlights of the year for me. I’ll no doubt have a
bet in them all, I’ll update on the appropriate thread in the Big Races
Forum and the Maydan Thursdays thread, there’s some good knowledge in
    there.

Very best of luck all, whatever you’re betting on or just watching them
    for the pure enjoyment :good:

Baaed sidestepping the Arc is good for anyone with one of the other contenders. I’d say that race and the QEII will go a long way to deciding the winner.

I didn’t think they would chance losing his unbeaten record ep1097. Which in
some respects is a bit of a shame as I think he would win it. Problem is that
the Arc can be a messy race and there are some unfortunate stories that have
come out of it. If he wasn’t a superstar already, and he is, he most certainly
would have been that bit more special if he had won the Arc.

There’s no such thing as a cert, but he’s as close as you’ll come in the
Champion stakes, which seems the likely route.

No certainty in thr Arc this year, which makes it a very interesting race.
I haven’t disected it yet still too many will he wont he horses, but Vadeni
at 10/1 definitely catches my eye.

Bit later in the week but not that it makes a lot of difference as
the league has ground to a halt with no points earned. Edantony
holds on again for another week with only 4 more to go.

However, there are a good few Group races at the weekend which give
    somehope to those chasing Tony,

The Royal Lodge looks taylormade for Flying Honours (8/15) in a 4 horse
affair. Too short for my interests. The Cheveley Park states has some top
notch fillies, including O’Brien’s Mediate (5/2) although she will have to
do well to deny Trillium, 9/4, a 4 timer. Ralph Becket has had half a dozen
winners in the past fortnight and Juliet Sierra is no lost cause at 10/1.

Marshman (9/4) may be the fav for the Middle Park Stakes but I’d say there are
6 of the 8 you couldn’t rule out. Blackbeard (3/1) and Mischief Magic (7/2).
I think 6/1 is a big price for Persian Force, I know Hannon thinks a lot of
    him.

The big betting race of the weekend is the Cambridgeshire, good luck with at one

Ok you guys, anyone thinking of a Jamie Spencer type win from
the rear on the pack better start getting their nags into top
gear as there are only 3 weeks left, this Saturday being the 1st
    of them.

They have to get past Edantony, who has been been making all from
the front for weeks and weeks now. Although he failed to score this
week, he still has the pack trying to make up ground. Tony still leads
on 611.51 Points and Michael Walsh, another who had a blank week, is
still on Tony’s heels with 573.62.

There were only 6 stables that scored, and of those 2 were by far the
    Highest scorers.

Knocking Numpty On The Flat off 3rd place is TRF77RR (AKA Neil or Rummy).
Neil had the very unique Blackbeard, who’s pre stalls exhibition has
endeared him to the masses. He also looks one of the finds of the season
and added 30.64 Points to move Neil that 1 place up 3rd spot on 559.90.

A foot on the Podium Neil, well done with that, and every chance of more
points if he heads to the Dewhurst in a couple of weeks. Well done :good:

The other high scorer of the week, Unbearable Nathan already has a picture
of Blackbeard above the fireplace which he lovingly touches every time he
leaves the house, the same way the Liverpool touch the “This is Anfield”
sign in the tunnel. He’s besotted with Blackbeard and has his pal Jac
(Triptych) following him everywhere with her Nikon with a 2 foot lense.
Pics can be viewed in the Meydan Thursdays thread. A further 1.07 Points
for the 3rd in the same race, Persian Force makes Nathan the highest scorer
of the week and a monster jump from 13th
to 8th. Well done Nathan, he’s some horse :good:

The 4 others that scored were in low single figure numbers, but as I always
say they all count so well done to them.

Top notch racing at the weekend, toomany to mention but Newmarket, Ascot
and Longchamp leave a mouth watering any number of Group races and on
Sunday there is the Arc. I’ll be glued to the telly for the 2 days, I
hope you all have luck with your stable horses and any nice punts you
have. Like I mentioned a couple of weeks ago I fancy Vadeni who’s still
    available at 9/1. I think that’s a decent bet.

Good luck whatever you fancy and hereare the scores as per the TTTF

Great move Nathan, and what a horse he is, It’s no wonder you’ve been
singing his praises for quite some time. I’d love to see him get another
run before the competition closes, he’s an exciting horse to watch :good:

What a time to hit the front. Michael Walsh has finally deposed
(for the moment anyway) Edantony from the head of the league by
Kyprios winning the Qatar Prix Cardan 27.70 and more importantly
Alpanista the Arc. A jump of 1 place to top of the league and
joint highest scorer of the week with 84 points. Well done Michael :good:

It’s small margins that cause the ebb and flow in the league and
this week is a prime example of it. Edantony had held on as leader
for weeks on end and although having Kyprios it wasn’t enough to hold
off Mike, however it is enough to hold onto 2nd place, marginally.
    behind.

Numpty on the flat, equaled Michael with 84 points with
both Kyprios and Alpanista, but could be termed unlucky as Nashwa
tried to overcome a bad draw in 13 only to finish 2nd in the Prix
De La Opera at Longchamp on Sunday for 1.40 points. It could have been
so different. Nevertheless, you guys are within 1 good win to narrow
it all down again with 2 weeks to go. Well done both of you and best of
    luck :good:

Kyprios was the most popular horse and helped keep Neil (TRF 77) in
contention in 4th place and Jac (Triptych) to rise 3 places to 9th.
Good going guys, it will be hard to catch the leaders, but 2 really
good weeks could change a great deal. Well done both of you :good:

Man Superstars stays in 6th, with the popular Kyprios, but could feel
a little unlucky that Verdani didn’t start his run for home a tad earlier.
It always feels that way when you come up short, I lost a few quid on that
one but that’s racing for you. Keep going Man S. :good:

A few chances this weekend, the Dewhurse and the Darley Stakes at Newmarket
has a few horses of interest to the league.

From a betting perspective the big race is the Cesarewitch which still has
35 entered with 34 to run. Pick one out of that if you can.

Best of luck this week, only 2 to go. :good:

    LAST WEEK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No change in the league positions as expected this week, but I was glad to see
Barrow Raiders pick up some very needed points with what is now the King’s
Just Fine at Leicester on Tuesday 4th October. 16.04 points picked up there
and another couple of points with another of Michael Stoute’s Ville De Grace,
which was 3rd at Newmarket on Friday 7th October. It’s a brave shout to go
with what mightbe termed an alternative stable, sometimes they come off,
sometimes  Very well done this week Barrow Raiders, you put the
rest of us to shame. Top (and only) marks this week :yahoo:

One of the tightest finishes I’ve seen on here and it’s wide open who is going
to emerge victorious. Champions day at Ascot. Far too many to put forward, although
it would be a major surprise if Baaeed doesn’t keep his unblemished record.
Plenty of others well capable of turning things upside down.

Very best of luck to all, it’s been a lot of fun. Here here are the scores as per
the TTTF site prior to the Final Day.

pulled thw Leagues off. I’m assuming they will put them back up shortly,
if not I’ll get in touch with them
