Sometimes chucking them together Inthestream can be the way to go.

I’ll do a round-up before Ascot and then every Monday(ish)
    thereafter.

I can say at this point that no less than 15 out of the 18 Stables
had the winner of the Derby, Desert Crown. Smartypants here (Flatasapancake)
needless to say wasn’t one of them. D’oh !

Apologies for not having the scoreboard up yet, it was brought to my attention that
2 stables joined the league after the cut off point and not having the first scoreboard
up it’s a slight problem. Tote are checking for me and hopefully can confirm the couple
    who were a tad late.

It’s not a problem in as far as anyone can join the league, I have no control over that,
it’s just that they unfortunately wouldn’t be considered for the winners prize. Tote are
checking for me. I know it seems harsh but I can’t make it a rule and then ignore it.

I’ll catch up later, honest

I’ve contacted the Tote again, they assure me it’s being looked at.
I maybe should have taken a screen shot of the league as soon as the
stalls opened. Anyway, I’ll post the league as it is at the moment
and if anyone did take a note of the league or know what the original
17 were then that would be helpful.

I’ll update as soon as the Tote get back to me :good:

Ok, it seems that they may have been a bit swamped and it’s just as likely that
the additional 2 were registered before the off but added after the start. It
was the 1st week, so not as if someone had joined the league after a couple
of months with a big score. I’m going to run with the 19 as I think it’s the
    fairest way. Decision made :good:

Edantony tops the league at this point on 347.08 with some great picks. Perfect
Power, 56.15 Points, taking the Darley July Cup and Desert Crown the Derby winner.
Kyprios may have been inexperienced but knew enough to win the Gold Cup.
Coreobus (53.11) and (52.28) and Baaeed were further Ascot winners along with Nature
Strip in the Kings Stand and Bay Bridge, runner up in the Prince Of Wales.

TRF RR 77 had the 1st named 6 winners in Edantony’s list and wasn’t far behind with
    313.22 Points

As mentioned earlier no less than 15 out of 19 stables had the Derby winner and Coroebus
and Baaeed was almost universally chosen by all.
A decent start by many. The top 2 over the 300 mark and 7 in the 200s.

Still some decent races at the weekend. The Irish Derby has the very well
fancied Tuesday along with a Group 2 and 3 at the Curragh.

Newmarket has the Group3 Criterion where Willie Haggass’s Aldaary seems
    to be all the rage.

For those that like it near impossible, there’s the Northumberland Plate
    at Newcastle.

A bit cut down this week, but I’ve had a lot on my plate of late so
just giving the bones. Good luck this week :good:

Thanks for that update Graham I know what a hectic schedule you have had on this week.

A lot of us do seem to have a similar selection of horses and they have been scoring well for us. :good:

I have Modern News for the Criterion on Saturday and will be at Newmarket to cheer him on from the favoured Aldaary also waiting on Native Trail to come out again.

Best of luck to everyone. :good: Jac

The best scoring horse of the week was the very gallant winner of The Pitmans
Derby on Saturday, Truesham, (15.40 points) despite carrying a couple of tons
on his back. Four stables benefitted, Inthestream, Twiston, Gadge’s Nags and
yours truly, Flatasapancake. Inthestream also picked up a further 1.40 pointswith
Suesa who was 2nd at Chantilly.

Well done to all four of you, but the extra 1.40 points with Suesa makes
Inthestream the top points scorer of the week :yahoo:

Three Naps wasn’t far behind on the scoring front with Piz Badile, who ran a
good race in 2nd in the Irish Derby, (14.80) but Westover won easily and looks
a decent sort. Nice pick TN, I reckon

Unbearable Nathan (I didn’t say it  ) Had Blackbeard, 1.50 points, at
the Curragh on Saturday. I reckon if he hadn’t thrown a bit of a tantrum before
they got him in the stalls, I don’t think he would have been beaten that shd.
Unlucky Nathan, definitely more to come.

Barrow Raiders was the only other stable with points. Aeonian, 1.50 points, at
Newmarket on Saturday. It’s unusual to see a Michael Stoute horse out 3 times in
a month, but he must have been showing the right signs at home. The way he finished,
I think a step up to 12f might see the best of him.

That’s all the moves this week. Inthestream up 4 places to 5th, Gadge up 1 to 11
    and despite Nathan’s 1.50 points, it’s a nice move up to 15 from 17.

Sandown has a nice meeting on Saturday, with the Coaral Eclipse being the
highlight. The French horse Vadeni, a very easy group winner at Chantilly
last time out. I think this is a difficult race to sort out. Native Trail
and Real World have decent chances and Michael Stoute’s Bay Bridge has done
nothing wrong. If Mishriff is ready he’s definitely not out of it and although
Lord North is the oldest and most exposed horse in the race, I wouldn’t rule
    him out at 25/1.

The Lancasshire Oaks is another with plenty in with chnaces. Free Wind is
a respected favourite, although I think there is a bit of value about about
Viola who didn’t have the best run when 2nd over c/d in a Group 3. she looks
a bit of value at 14/1, perhaps bigger on Sat morning, with some extra places.

    Best of luck all :good:

Not the busiest of weeks and only a couple of horses added points
to 4 stables. Alpanista landed a 6 timer and 4th straight Group 1
to land the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud and looks Arc bound.

Numpty on the flat and Michael Welsh both benefitted to the tune
of 37.50 points. Superb choice guys and more points on the way
    for sure :good:

Mishriff went down by a neck by a neck, perhaps a bit unfortunate
too, but ran a great race in the Eclipse. Mom’s Flat Track Bullies
and Unbearable Nathan get 14.90 points each.

Numpty and Michael both gain 3 places in the league, 8th to 5th
and 9th to 6th respectively. MOM moves up from 14th to 13th and
Nathan, despite the points, remains 15th. Very well done all 4
    of you :good:

Despite not scoring this week, the top 3, Edantony, TRF RR77 and
Man Superstars retain the top 3 places.

Some very decent racing this week at Newmarket, york and Ascot.
On Thursday Yibir is looking for his 1st win this season in the
Group 2 Prince of Wales Close brothers stakes. Surely this is his
best chance to date. He’s been fav in his 3 races, uncluding at 1/4
but hasn’t managed better than runner up. He’s 7/4 which is quite
short but at his best he should take this.

The Group 2 July Stakes on Thursday has seen money come for Persian
Force, best priced 15/8 and Richard Fahey Clearpoint (4/1) but I think
that Michael Bell’s Brave Nation, who was the meat in the sandwich at
the end of the Norfolk Stakes, has every chance and the 10/1 is reasonable,
he ended up 4th but would have been closer. I’ve had a few quid on.

The Group 2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes on Friday at Newmarket sees a return
match with the Fav Lazoo and Believing. Lazoo was impressive last time but I
think she had the run of the race whilst Believing was drawn on the wrong side
and had little cover. I’d rather have some of the 20/1 for Believing who James
    Doyle has stayed with.

Out of the decent races on Saturday, the July Cup interests me the most. Twighlight
Jet didn’t run his race at Ascot last time, he was behind a wall and the jockey
eased up on him to finish last. On that showing you wouldn’t fancy him, but he
won impressively at Naas the time before and he showed his liking for Newmarket
when winning a Group 3 here lst October. I reckon the 33/1 on offer from William
Hill and Coral, and a few smaller bookies, is very decent value.

That’s all from me this week. Best of luck if you have one or two running in the
league and good luck with any punts :good:

This is a mini round up of last week’s results as I’m
down in London and seeing my son his partner and my 2
week old Grandson. Fine pair of lungs he has too :good:

Not too many points scored this week and no chnage in the front 3.
Inthestream had a nice one with Persian Force in the July Stakes
(22.60) and MOM had an equally nice one with Mawj (27.65) in the
    Duchess Of Cambridge.Welldone guys :good:

Nathan managed to outdo the lot of us with a nice double. The above mentioned
Persian Force, but also Chindit in the Summer Mile Stakes at Ascot. Great
    double there Nathan :good:

A few points scattered here and there but those were the biggest winners.

The race that holds most hopes for the league at the weekend is the Irish
Oaks, where Emily Upjohn has a place in many stables.

That’s it for this week, I’m off the heat another bottle, what an appetite

A little bit of movement here and there in the league but not
enough to change the top of the table despite Neil (TRF RR77),
who remains in 2nd place despite digging out a nice one with
Blackbeard (23.60 points)winning the Prix Robert Papin at Chantilly.
It may not have changed things around at the top but gets Neil right
on the heels of the leader Edantony. He looks 0ne to pick up points
with Neil and has some top entries. Well done :good:

Unbearable Nathan was another who had Blackbeard in their corner and
managed to jump a couple of places from 15th to 13th. He looks one
that could run up the points Nathan :good:

Jim Bolger’s Boundless Ocean did the trick in fine style for Midnight
at Leopardstown on Thursday and added 19 points. Eases Midnight a
little further up a place to 17th. Nicely done :good:

However the plaudits this week for top scorer and biggest mover
(14th to 10th) go to Theresahorseinthishouse, who had the Group 1 winner
Onesto (31.30 points) at Longchamp on Thursday. Great pick and well done
as top scorer and biggest mover of the week :yahoo:

It looks like the race that could make some moves in the week is the
King George VI and Queen Elizebeth Stakes on Saturday at Ascot. It
contains a host of league hopefuls with Westover, Emily Upjohn, Mishriff,
Torquator Tasso, Broome and Pyledriver. Best of luck if you’re on any of
    those :good:

Not much more happeneing this weekend, so I’ll just finish up with the

Apologies I’m a week late with this, things have just been a bit
chaotic this last couple of weeks.

Edantony keeps his place at the top with Nashwa’s fine win in the
Nassau Stakes(52.18 Points) and the brillliant Baaeed (52.18 points)
in the Sussex Stakes, very closely followed by Neil (TRF RR77) who
also had Baaeed, O’Brien’s rising star Kyprios (28.65 points) in
the Goodwood Cup and Blackbeard, winner of the Prix Robert Papin
(23.60 points). Whilst Sultans of Swing had Baaeed, Kyprios and
Nashwa to push his way into 3rd spot

First class all 3 of you with an eye for great potential :yahoo:

Man Superstars may have fallen off the podium into forth, but didn’t
give away too much also having Baaeed and Kyprios. Just over 3 points
separates 3rd and 4th. Keep it going Man S :good:

A huge move from Twiston and Gadge’s Nags who both had Baaeed (52.18),
winner of the King George & QE Stakes Pyledriver (77.55) and Trueshan
adding a further 01.30 points for a massive total of just shy of a superb
130 points. Brilliant couple of weeks guys, joint top scorers and joint top
movers of the fortninght from 14th to 7th position, and 15th to 8th respectiveley :yahoo:

Baaeed was just about a unanimous choice and nearly all benefitted with the
    52.18 points.

To be honest there’s not a lot to set the pulse racing this weekend, unless
the Shergar Cup is your thing. Personally I wouldn’t even look at the runners
and riders, but that’s maybe just me.

Best of luck this weekend anyway, and I promuse to pull my socks up with
    my weekly reports

Thanks for that Sam, I got the email to remind me today and have been
through all the league for this week. Not that it amounts to a hill of
beans as only 5 of us got minimal points with placed horses. I’ll post
    that up now.

Like I said to Sam, there was very little movement in the league this week
    and nobody changed places

FF91 scored 4.9 points with Minzaal who was 2nd at Deauville on Sunday.
Inthestream scored 2.5 points when Persian Force couldn’t compete with
Little Big Bear, who looked impressive, at the Curragh on Sunday.
TheresAHorseInThis House acored 1.30 when 2nd at Leopardstown on Thursday.
Finaly Flatasapancake scored 2,50 points with Sacred Bridge, 3rd in the
Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday.

To be honest I don’t see anyone running up many, or any, points this weekend.

Luxembourg will try and make up for his 3rd in the 2000 Guineas and I reckon
he will probably do so at the Curragh on Saturday. Nothing else strikes me st
this time until the York meeting next week

Here are the league scores as per the TTTF aite.

    Hello to everyone

BigG While I agree with you about York next week we do have
a Group One race at Deauville on Sunday which has lost a little
of its gloss with the news of Maljoom now a non runner. However
    Coroebus should still run.

Anyone still in with a chance in this competition should look at
making changes in the Transfer Window.

    All the best :good:
