There are still two weeks to go but yesterday’s win for Roland, his seventh on the trot in a remarkable unbeaten sequence, has wrapped up the Premiership title. Congratulations Roland! A great performance, particularly considering that you have been in profit for six of those seven weeks. Fittingly Roland scored the biggest profit on the day yesterday with a nice 44/1 double
Kevin now looks afvourite for the runner up title after Johnny B came a cropper against Grey Desire who weighed in with a fantastic 20/1 winner at Doncaster (Fard Du Moulin Mas).
The relegation battle in the Premiership looks tight with  no fewer than eight players still in the danger zone. Alderbrook surely has to win both his next two to have any hope of staying up while Racing Daily and Manugirl will both have been relieved to take three points yesterday to take some of the pressure off.
In the Championship the defeat for Fanciedhorselayer has opened the title race up and there are six players still in with a shout. FHL still heads the division but Perry, Anne7, Irsheyez and The Wizard all won to put themselves within three points of the lead. Xanderkir could have gone joint top but I’m afraid I put a spanner in the works! Sorry Xand! The top six all take each other on next week in what looks sure to be a critical week.
The other four players in the Championship are still haunted by the prospect of relegation and with only yours truly winning yesterday next weeks match ups between Aranalde and Adrian and myself and Michael Walsh will be just as vital as the ties at the other end of the table.
In League One last weeks leader, Jairducochetfan, slipped up against Citygirl (thanks to an 8/1 winner for Citygirl) and moves down into third place behind Kingmonkey and CelticOK who both took maximum points. Slipperytoad is coming into form at the right time and is now only three points off the lead after his fourth win from his last five outings. Kingmonkey had the biggest priced winner of the day, the 10/1 Chickadoo, and KM’s selections are the most profitable of any player in any of the three divisions.
A huge clash next week in this division when the two joint leaders Kingmonkey and CelticOK clash in a match which could seal the destination of the title.
Things are looking extremely bleak now for Ultimate Nightmare who could only take one point from his tie with Rory despite Rory not turning up!

December 11, 2005 at 20:42 #83257I had a 20/1 winner yesterday (not that it matters for the outright title,Fard Du Moulin Mas 2.20 Donny)<br>I timed the race wrong but corrected it on the thread in time.(sorry for the confusion).
December 11, 2005 at 21:13 #83258Sorry GD – How did I miss a 20/1 winner! I checked it against the 1.45 and didn’t re-check when I came to your later correction.
I’ve amended the table and your scores now. Moves you up from 2nd bottom to third top!
