Albertas Run’s run was an ordinary effort in what is an ordinary – no worse than that, but certainly no better – run of form for the O’Neill yard in recent weeks.
If the portents are more widely encouraging in the days leading up to the Hennessy, I’d not be holding last Sunday’s performance against him one little bit, though that’s not to say I definitely won’t find other reasons for taking him on.
