    Good evening fellow Golfers.

Well after a bit of a wipe out last week  the show moves on a pace to this weeks offerings, here’s to plenty of winners this week all being well.

I will begin wth the KLM Open.

After an improved outing last week i am going to row in with Nick Dougherty as my first choice here in the hope that he can carry last weeks performance forward.

Next in line will be Oliver Wilson who hopefully can do his Ryder Cup prospects no harm.

Finally for this and a couple of longer priced one’s in the shape of David Howell and if he makes it to the gig aided hopefully by playing on home territory Joost Luiten will complete the votes here.

If the last named fails to make it i might be tempted to give Chris Wood a try.

On next to the Barclays Championship and i am afraid to say that it’s back to basics here, no introdutions required so without further ado the honour falls first on Padraig Harrington who i have to admit i thought would be favourite for this.

Anthony Kim, Kenny Perry, Hunter Mahan and finally Ben Curtis will also be entrusted by hopefully putting some of there capital into my Bank Account :) .

So to the Ladies and begining with the SAS Masters, firstly most of my crew have decided for one reason or another to jump ship this week, can’t say that i blame them  , for that reason i will be going it alone with Rebecca Hudson, hopefully i have not put the frighteners up her  .

Finally for me the Safeway Classic, firstly my colleague Jon has helped me out here by very kindly getting the 22’s available on Annika Sorenstam who i am beginning to wonder now if she will get another win before she retires at the end of the year, heres hoping.

I am prepared to go in again with Ai Miyazato who is firstly double the price she was last week and secondly i am hoping she has got over the initial shock of being picked by me last week :) .

The usual suspects also complete my votes for this those being Paula Creamer and Kristy McPherson.

Well folks that will do it for me again so as always whatever your picks BE LUCKY.

    Cheers for now.

    Adrian.

Good luck to everybody betting on the golf this week :)

It’s the start of the FedExCup playoffs on the pga tour and it’s the Barclays Classic in New Jersey which looks very competitive so I’ve decided to bet on 5 players starting with Adam Scott who often plays his best golf at courses where he has previously performed well and he was runner up here in 2006 – I am hoping he has recovered fully from his recent illness.
I think that Geoff Ogilvy is worth another chance and he did finish 4th here last year and I reckon that Anthony Kim will have benefited from a week’s rest after playing in four consecutive tournaments and could go close. My other picks are Aaron Baddeley who showed a sign of a return to form when finishing 13th in the PGA Champ’ships + Sean O’Hair who has played quite well recently.

On the Euro tour and the KLM Open takes place in Holland. Justin Rose has decided to miss the Barclays event in order to play here and attempt to gain some Ryder Cup points so he is my main selection and at least I know he will be trying…….whether he will be good enough is another matter :) My other choices are Markus Brier & Francesco Molinari.

I am trying new tactics this week on the lpga tour in the Safeway Classic. I rarely bet on favourites but I think that Lorena Ochoa is very likely to win soon and I’m betting that it will be this week. She has not been at her best since a couple of family bereavements but she seems to be slowly regaining her form. This event is a bit easier than some of the recent ones on the ladies tour and she won it last year. The price of 7/2 is nothing to write home about but will look great value if she does return to her excellent early season form. My only other bet is on Suzann Pettersen.

    Happy punting :)

    Pete
