Liverpool vs Burnley
Second half
Salah hit the bar late in the first half and had a first half shot saved.
Liverpool 8 shots on target in first half are flyingM. Salah to have 1+ Shots on Target in the 2nd half (was 1/2)evens
This is a bargain bet and restricted to £10 by sky betDecember 26, 2023 at 19:38 #1675091Mo salah was absent throughout the second half.
Manchester United vs Aston Villa
Kicks off 8pm tonight
Watkins 2+ shots on target & Fernandes 1+ shot on target (was 5/2) @ 5/1United could not have been worse than at West Ham the front line were totally ineffectual against the happy hammers who tore them apart.
They cannot play as badly again tonight and a home fixture must be something of a relief.
Watkins will get chances tonight.December 26, 2023 at 19:57 #1675095Man Utd vs Villa
I’m expecting a penalty decision here tonight
A Penalty Taken in Match @ 11/8
A Penalty Taken
Manchester Utd v Aston VillaDecember 26, 2023 at 22:50 #1675112Brilliant comeback from united certainly a suprise.
December 27, 2023 at 18:06 #1675260Thought Villa were good value at 2-1, but made the mistake of taking the enhanced price with Paddy Power, so didn’t get paid when Villa went 2-0 up. After that Utd finished the first half v strongly, so I wasn’t surprised they turned it around
December 28, 2023 at 11:12 #1675358Well Befair,
Villa certainly disappointed the other night. But Manchester United pulled it out of the fire with Garnacho playing well in the second half. My missus has a crush on him. It was an excellent comeback but another team like Bournemouth just a week or two ago would have been out of sight by half time and the cracks at old Trafford are papered over again momentarily.
BRIGHTON Vs TOTTENHAM
Tonight ( Amazon prime)
It’s amazing how few people realise that they can watch these premiership matches over Christmas for free via their Amazon accounts.
A quick delve into the stats suggests spurs are well positioned to take advantage of Brighton’s major dip in form.
Spurs have a good record at the south coast side and despite a bad result at white hart lane involving Brighton last year, have won 11 of the first 18 premiership matches for the second time.
On both occasions Spurs won the 19th game.
Conditions and the all round goal scoring ability of players in the team mainly Son and Richarlson mean goals are available tonight.
The 5/6 about spurs bagging two + tonight must be taken even with Richarlson a doubt. The match along with the rest of the holiday fixtures are being screened on Amazon prime tonight. So poor people like me can watch the games.December 28, 2023 at 17:41 #1675420Self-pity doesn’t become you Sam!
It’s mainly been Seagulls away form that has let them down this season. The other question is if Spurs form has dipped since that 3-3 v City at beginning of month – not sure how much you can read into their Newcastle win. Probably over-influenced by what I saw last Saturday. It didn’t look to me like they were saving themselves for tonight. 2-2 and we’re both happy!
December 28, 2023 at 19:20 #1675438Agreed zilzal I’m not very good at it!
Brighton are masters at putting teams to the sword but they have dipped a little of late and this represents Spurs best chance in recent times and the stats scream that they can score a couple here.
I’m not tipping a Spurs win here, but I do think they are capable of scoring twice over the 90 mins however…December 28, 2023 at 19:23 #1675440Confident about Spurs!
Consider 7/5-6/4 for Spurs to win race to 3 Corners. Will shine at start if at all. Seagulls will probably need to work themselves into match. GLDecember 28, 2023 at 19:24 #1675442Sorry Zil, I’ve had to amend my post I wrote I’m tipping a spurs win!! Bloody changed that quick enough!!
December 28, 2023 at 21:22 #1675466Next team to score
Spurs 3/1
Brighton 9/2Current score 4:2
Nine minutes of injury timeDecember 28, 2023 at 22:58 #1675478Happy to come out of that match with main bet landed. How they managed two is the suprise. Totally outplayed by Brighton who could have scored seven.
Announcement about Eddie Howe likely inside a fortnight be it the order of the boot 🥾 or the vote 🗳 of confidence.December 29, 2023 at 21:36 #1675634Ipswich struggling at home to qpr in a match delayed at half time by a fan taking Ill in the stands.
Lots of qpr action in the second half with Jason dozzell’s son prominent against his old club has left Ipswich holding on.
65 mins gone with most of the games into injury time this one will roll on and hopefully Ipswich can regroup and sneak a late winner.
Ipswich to win @ 2/1December 30, 2023 at 12:32 #1675715Celtic vs Rangers
Celtic to win on the “ 2 up” rule
@ evensDecember 30, 2023 at 14:24 #1675756Bet landed in the 47th minute and Rangers have pulled a goal back and might just save the match with eight added minutes.
That is the beauty of the two up bet.
Rangers have everything to play for here, but with the bet already landed, no need to get involved further.December 31, 2023 at 20:02 #1675948Liverpool vs Newcastle
Not a lot of scope here but two bets that tickle my fancy
A player to be sent off 100/30
Two + penalties to be taken @ 7/1
Liverpool often on the wrong end of var scrutiny but they may try to make amends tonight!! Just a funny feeling.
Happy new year.December 31, 2023 at 21:37 #1675957And I thought Sam was was going to tell us to lump on Eddie Howe’s taxi at 6/1!
Many happy soccer “returns” for ‘24, Sam
