    Villa Newcastle
Newcastle made such a bright start last week, and points here are vital long term.
Villa at least are at home post Grealish but the signings need to step up quickly and perform and Newcastle will have targeted this fixture as one of the few away wins they can get before Xmas.
    Villa won 2-0
    Palace Brentford
Brentford and palace a likely draw, but the Bees could just nick it here.
    Goaless draw
    Liverpool Burley
Goals galore here as the kop returns.
    Liverpool won 2-0
    Man city Norwich
Man city need to emulate Liverpool after defeat last week at Spurs. After a strong start by Norwich, Manchester to settle and cut lose.
Man city cut loose indeed final score
    5-0

    Man city vs Arsenal
Very early to have a club’s pivotal match, but this is it for Arsenal and Arteta.
A draw is the minimum requirement for a team having it’s worst start to a season in 118 years.
The off field activity in Arsenal’s favour is the anti climax of local rivals United stealing a signing under City’s noses.
Prediction half time Arsenal full time man city.
    Correct score
    Arsenal 1 Man city 3
    Arsenal 2 Man city 3
    Arsenal 0 Man city 3

    Final score
    5-0

    Chelsea 1 Liverpool 1
More dodgy outside control from var over penalty review.
Right decision to award penalty, but referee presented with still image on monitor. Auto suggestion.

    Sunday 26th September
    Arsenal to beat Spurs
    Lacazette to score at anytime.
    Southampton to beat Wolves

    Dundee utd to beat Celtic
    Half time full time
    Dundee/Dundee
    Draw/ Dundee
Telling stat is Sours failure to beat Arsenal
Arsenal are unbeaten in their past 10 Premier League home games against Tottenham (W6, D4).
Arsenal are trying to win consecutive league fixtures against Spurs for the first time since 2014.
Spurs’ 3-2 victory at the Emirates in 2010 is their only win in the past 28 top-flight matches away to Arsenal (D11, L16).
Arsenal have scored at least once in each of their last 22 Premier League home games against Tottenham.
Celtic look vulnerable at home to Dundee utd
They are having a torrid time this season and have already lost three from six. Dundee utd are above them in the table, so the huge odds against an away win are a gift,

    Arsenal 3up
    Form an orderly queue!!!
Dundee utd so close to a decent pay out.

    Full time.
Wolves turned form around to win at troubled saints great to see Jimanez get the goal.
    I don’t think lacazette figured in Arsenal’s 3-1 win.
That is 1 win from the last 29 matches at Arsenal for Spurs so the selection was absolutely a no brainer

    There are some compelling stats
Which suggest this game will go either of two ways.
    Draw or win for Palace.
Neither side are good on a Monday!
Saha has four goals in this fixture.
    Half time full time
    Brighton/ Draw
    Brighton/ Palace
    Saha to score at anytime.

Brighton could go top with a win.
Great start to season for both sides.

    Newcastle play Spurs this weekend.
Steve Bruce 1000 games as a manager.
I wonder if this will be his last game.
Newcastle clearly have nobody lined up to replace him and they have no choice but to keep him in charge until a replacement is found.
Newcastle players now have to play for their futures!! So Steve Bruce is firmly in the driving seat here. Football is a funny game and it would not suprise me to see Bruce keep his place for longer than expected.
Norwich have an unattractive business model in place which guarantees them promotion and relegation every other year.
They make a decent profit, and get to develop a youth policy unaffected by the demands of trying to keep up with the premier elite.
However they are now coming in for a lot of stick for this approach and are being labelled unambitious.
It is this sort of attention that sponsors and boards do not like.
Daniel Farke therefore could well be the victim and may be a suprise sacking in the coming days at 25/1 freely available.
It would further be no suprise if Norwich then looked to former player and coach Steve Bruce as their next appointment!

    Newcastle vs Spurs
    1630

    Another sky bet
    Kane 2+ shots on target
and Saint Maximin 1+ shots on target
    4/1
Forty five minutes realistically if this one is to come in before subs are made.
I think this is a decent wager.
But the bookie must think so too.
Kane is woefully out of sorts and Newcastle are one of the clubs who may seek his services in January. Saint Maximin is a live wire and I would expect him to have a shot on target. Kane is certainly the weak bridge in this bet.

Got to half time and with Kane only half way there with 1 goal from 1 shot and the Newcastle man on a blank, I cashed out small profit. Got the impression they could play all day without adding. so before either manager made a substitution it was time to cashout.

    PREMIER LEAGUE
    Brentford vs Leicester
    West Ham vs Tottenham
    Man utd vs Liverpool

Brentford have been excellent this season and have taken to their new home and the top table like ducks to water.
Leicester have never looked back since promotion but are in and out although safe in the division. Likely draw here.

West Ham can solidify their position as 2nd top London side with a win here.
Spurs went behind inside two minutes at Newcastle a club who have a fight on their hands to stay in the division. Suseptable to set pieces, another early score is a real possibility against a rampant hammers team.
Big mistake to rest players in midweek they will not be match fit despite the rest and team lost in any case.
West Ham to score 2+ goals. West Ham to win.

    Man utd vs Liverpool
Tough match ahead with Man utd facing some searching questions. This is the game which will define the season for them.
The manager has to secure a win or at least avoid defeat. Liverpool must be confident of winning here in what us usually a tight contest.
    Prediction Liverpool win
    Salah to score @ 3/1
    Draw.

    Free money
    For a change.
Salah scores twice just to make sure!!
Often teams don’t score in the second half after scoring three or more, but hard to see them not adding just one.
    They are awful are united…
Must be it for the manager now.

Leeds have only made four changes for the match with Arsenal.
They have every chance of progressing here.
Arsenal players trying to break through to the first team. Either Leeds can take this or it may go to penalties.
A very tough fixture on the cards.
    Leeds to win
    Leeds/ arsenal on penalties
Early second half goal and Arsenal have likely secured the tie with late goal. Leeds can take heart from good performance. Now need to buckle down and fight to secure premiership place. Does not look good for
Newcastle on the face of it.

I’m not sure who is advising Frank Lampard, but he has passed on a premiership Manager’s job and Dean Smith gets the gig.
Sure relegation was assured, but he’d have been in a good position for the next premier league vacancy.
Steve Gerrard is the next Liverpool manager and that opportunity may come sooner than expected.
He will be getting plenty of experience at Villa this season he is sure to have a Liverpool clause in his contract and if anything happens he will be off to Anfield toot sweets.
Tonight England may find goals hard to come by they only need to draw to qualify and a comfortable win is the main priority. But just in case they go goal crazy I’ve gone 10-0 10-1
    8-0!!!!!
    Most likely result another 5-0. 4-0 4-1.

Some very questionable var decisions last night.
It is very clear that pictures can be played at any speed and at any angle to reach a desired decision.
Tammy Abrahams back heel was interpretated as a kick on an opponent and a goal chalked off.
Two penalties awarded by applying the letter of the law rather than the common sense spirit of the game. A ball clearly going wide hits a stray hand. Another ball unavoidably cannons into a shoulder area.
If someone in a bunker ( wizard of oz style) can influence a game to such a degree that a correct or desired score can be reached or manipulated, the issues are very obvious.
Bookmakers should be worried…. But they are not because they can jump on any bandwagon and profit if needs be, such are their profits…

    Wales vs Belgium
“Ramsey 1+ shot on target, 2+ corners each team in each half and 10+ booking points each team”
    20/1
