Today’s game is at the Suncorp Brisbane and although the performance from maroons will be better, NSW are rampant and it is hard to see them stepping off the gas here.
Valentine Holmes is a big price to score the first try around 22/1 for Queensland and a good start is essential for them to be in this match.

NSW spoilt things a little by objecting to the selection of a player under the eligibility rules. The player was scrubbed from selection on the eve of the match despite having played representative football for Queensland as a junior. This was on the strict interpretation that a player must be eligible aged 13 the lad broke through at 14! The player released a statement to say understandably that he was broken by the rejection. It raises lots of questions about inclusion still being an issue in Australia. No doubt that the controversy will overshadow the entire series and lead to a relaxation of the archaic rule in question.Origin 3
