    The YouGov MRP poll:
The results could change dramatically as 37% of the constituencies were decided by margins of five points or less.
And, in London, under this latest MRP poll, the Greens are now projected to win NO (London) seats. Thst’s a big turnaround from a few months back.

A very fickle electorate, at this time.

Will Burnham cut and run, after a creative (poss giveaway) late Oct budget?
    Can he resist?
The bond markets are firing out huge warning signals to HMG.
His own friendly ‘advisers’ are firing warning shots across his bows.
Both about the huge, unsustainable government debt and the accompanying interest payments, with NO evidence of a government intent to rein in the out-of-control Welfare bill.

Burnham will be closer to being the next PM than your mate Nige.

And, just to reiterate for the millionth time, I am neither a Labour voter nor a Burnham fanboy.

The fact that tens of thousands of voters have realised the power of tactical voting in keeping your opponents out of power means the right is going to find it very hard to win going forward. It has always been the case but a huge effort has gone into tight seats in showing the benefits of backing the party that will maximise damage on your opponents. Oor nige will never get close to pm as hes such a polarising figure. And as sleekit as they come.Imho.

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/sep/28/nandy-labels-farage-master-of-conspiracy-theory-over-fairford-claims

Remember when the right was demanding that we release the nationality of suspects? Predictably, the answer in a lot of cases is British. But that doesn’t fit the narrative so now apparently we need to know if they are on benefits or live in social housing. What possible relevance does that have?

Later on Monday, Tice shared an X post by his partner Isabel Oakeshott, who said UK law recognised six types of British nationality and that asking for the suspects’ “countries of origin” was among “perfectly reasonable questions”.

The Reform deputy leader added: “Ethnicity? Dual nationals? Asylum seekers? Previous convictions? Known to Prevent / Authorities? Benefits claimants? Living in social housing?”

Is there anything that these charlatans won’t desperately try to pin on foreigners and/or benefit claimants? They literally have nothing else.

Isabel Oakeshott, such a proud patriot that she emigrated to Dubai.

As is usually (but not always) the case, Marina Hyde is spot-on:

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2026/oct/01/burnhams-reopening-of-brexit-debate-is-biggest-boost-in-my-career-says-farage

Brexit costs the UK economy an estimated £100 billion every year. The only people who still think that it was a good idea are those incapable of understanding facts.

The more Labour (and the Tories, for that matter) pin the blame for Brexit on Farage, the more likely it is he will decide to up sticks and leave politics.

Glad, your Green party are taking credit for Andys “Green” policies but if you check out what he’s done for Greater Manchester you’ll see that they had no credit whatsoever and all this is part of the bigger picture.

Farage is saying that he requested police protection from lunatics like Joshua Kerry, and saying time and time again he gets ignored.

The man accused of murdering Ann Widdecombe has also been charged with preparing acts of terror including against Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.

Counter terror police said Joshua Kerry, 28, was charged on Friday with one count of preparation of terrorist acts.

The charge relates to activity which is alleged to have taken place between May 2024 and July 2026.

Kerry was charged in July with the murder of 78-year-old Widdecombe, a former Conservative minister and Reform UK spokeswoman.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said she knew the fresh charge would be “extremely concerning” and her “profound sympathies” were with Farage and his family.

“Let no one make any mistake: an attack on anyone in politics is an attack on us all.

“This case raises serious questions about the security of those in public life. We must use this as an opportunity to reset. Once parliament returns, I will update on our work to strengthen protections for those who choose to serve.”

The BBC contacted Reform UK for comment and a party source said: “This is exactly why Nigel needed £5m to protect his security for life.”

Farage is currently facing a parliamentary standards watchdog probe into a £5m gift from a billionaire donor before he returned as an MP in 2024. The Reform leader has previously said the money was for his personal security.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

What is it about the supposedly non-racist Reform that keeps attracting racists? Some pretty disgusting comments about a woman from people in the party that allegedly wants to protect them.

To anyone who would still vote for this vile lot, they keep showing you who they are and this is the sort of thing you endorse.

I’m not sure why ITV have scheduled the programme for such a late time.

I know that many people nowadays don’t watch scheduled TV and stream at their own convenience, but surely an earlier broadcast time would have attracted more viewers.
