you gave them to decent deserving persons. I hope you’ve managed to
find a new publisher, preferably not one wearing a mask

I hope your chest is better now, I know how it can drag you down.
Keep up the checks with the doctor, you can’t take any chances.

I’m sorry I’m a bit late getting round here, I’ve been fighting off
some of the dreaded lurgy myself. I’m getting there slowly I think.
I’ve had my head in the racing post, probably more than I should,
but Cheltenham is coming and I’m adding to my daily tally of ante
post bets.

Jackie sounds a nice lady, just a friend?

I was very sorry to hear about your friend that passed away.
Nothing for you to feel guilty about mate. Seeing inside someones
head when they have their defences up is not an easy thing to do.
Sometimes the telltale signs just aren’t there, so don’t go delving
through your mind at what you maybe missed, you didn’t.

Keep healthy and keep up the good work. It’s obvious that people
appreciate it, and why wouldn’t they
