If God was involved then it must mean Jesus was walking amongst those at Chepstow

    Son of God odds

    Matt Chapman 100,000,000 to 1

    Luke Harvey 1000-1

    Jason Weaver 100-1

Jamie ” Saffie knows which one to ride ” Osbourne Evens

If we are getting biblical then Jim Goldie is Judas …

Might have been a bit difficult for the son of God to feed the 5,000 at Chepstow tonight.

And then he said “This hot dog bap is my body ” he blessed it , broke it and passed it around his racing disciples

Then he said ” This bottle of Tizer is my blood ” he passed the bottle around for everyone to have a swig

Just then Chapman of Newmarket arrived ” Jesus , ITV Racing ,
It’s Frankies last Shergar cup , have you anything to say to him ”

Five more rides for Saffie on Team Wales and West runners at Windsor this week, four of them currently priced at 11/2 or less in the early betting.

And in a priceless example of what’s in a name, she’s booked to ride one for her father at Bath on Saturday, called Ardad’s Great.

On the premise that it’s better to be talked about than not talked about, arguably The Racing League hit a new TRF low at Windsor tonight as no one here could even be bothered to comment on it.

Few here seem to like it and even those who dislike it most seem to have got bored with criticising it – it’s all been said.

Didn’t watch it. Or even bother recording it. I hope there are people who enjoy it but I am not one.

Stewart Machin making a few sarcastic comments about the Racing League on RTV. I think we can assume he is not a fan!

“Stewart Machin making a few sarcastic comments about the Racing League on RTV. I think we can assume he is not a fan!”

Doubt he’d be making the comments if he was covering it though, that tends to focus the mind. How many of the presenters and pundits covering the Racing League on ITV & Sky Sports have made sarcastic comments about it?

None at all, of course. But I wonder how many of them think it is any good really? Or believe that the team dimension works?

I have seen some of SSR’s coverage. The relentlessly upbeat, positive tone feels phoney. I suspect they know they are trying to sell a dud but keep a fixed smile on their faces. The need to keep on telling us how brilliant it is has more than a hint of desperation.

I did wonder if Josh (I cannot remember his surname) was having a bit of a laugh when he said last night “There will be a huge cheer when the North has a winner!”

Well done for keeping a straight face, Josh. But you know perfectly well punters only cheer when they have backed a winner. They do not care what team it is on.

The Racing League is at Wolverhampton tomorrow night.

A reminder of what Dunstall Park used to be like back in the days when sandpits were confined to beaches and golf courses: https://youtu.be/bUXfonUyr9Y?si=jPAL8QrhLjetNwsy

Everyone will be there because they want to be seen on telly. 30 might still be a stretch though!

If I was in the area, given the choice between this meeting and a local chicken Balti I’d be down the Balti House with me bib on!

    I won’t hear a word against Wolverhampton.

Apart from when The Racing League is there.
