    Chapman’s big gut appears to be holding a lot of gas. Perhaps he farted and a huge pocket of methane lingered near the kitchen and got ignited.

    Interest fell markedly after the fire brigade left! Interesting that they were able to accommodate the delay into the schedule though. Pity this isn’t the case with higher profile meetings.

    I confess I didn’t watch any of it, so I’m even less qualified to comment on this than I am on ITV Racing, which I no longer watch either, but did sporadically used to view on mute.

    However, via the Racing Post news app, I am aware there was both fire and flood.

    I’m not a religious man, but I’d venture to suggest that this sort of Biblical, Old Testament-esque, incident suggests that, if there is a God, it was God’s way of expressing dissatisfaction with the whole horse racing team sport concept.
