Sadly I wasn’t on, but this trainer in form has had four winners from four runners across the Chester and Chepstow cards.

    SPs were 9/1, 8/1, 11/4 and 5/1 which is roughly 2000/1….

I just backed Almost An Angel and Winklevi, which still leaves me winning for the evening. But, I sicerly hope that the stable made some nice profits tonight. Same applies to our dear forumites.

Now, is will this be a reason for bookies to shorten Rohaan’s price or not?

Was lucky enough to land an Evans 4 timer at Fos Llas a few years ago.Localish track to me and know a few lads from the Evans/Tudor/Brace fraternity.Told me at the bar they were expecting it and was happy to folllow their lead at much lower odds.Walked away with a few quid that day and always respect money from those yards when it’s down.Recent Welsh National winner was also a decent gamble landed.
Dave’s a shrewd operator and it’s been a pleasure to see him hit the big time with Rohaan this season.

I see tomorrow he’s having a tilt at the two juvenile listed races at Deauville. I don’t know anything about the UK two year old form but the 1000m race that Choux is running in looks very weak. The best of the French contingent looks to be Great Chief who beat a previous winner on debut but the rest of that field are all exposed as plating class. It’s hard to know the value of the Rome listed form that Royal Ashirah brings to the party but I suspect it’s not that great.

The 1400m race looks much tougher but there’s 3000 euros for coming 5th so you can hardly blame him for having a go can you especially with the yard going so well?

You can’t expect too much from a 5f Listed race at Deauville, Choux might definitely get some black type.

Sending two horses over can be a lot cheaper than when sending one. I guess both races are worth a try for him.

No Godolphin, no Wertheimer, nothing special in both races….
