Think the last bit that Gord wrote sums things up perfectly. There’s two very different threads here from two people who’s knowledge on racing is in my opinion very, very good.
From reading thoughts from them both on here for quite a long time now and following them closely I don’t think there’s really that much between them as far as racing knowledge goes, but what this little challenge highlights is the best way to use your knowledge to have a chance of beating the bookie.

Does anyone agree this thread has run it’s course? lets all congratulate TAPK on a fine success, hardly having to come out of 2nd gear as he removed his goggles for a quick wipe of the forehead as Fist drops back through the field like an injured soldier on the frontline, TAPK wins by 40lengths.
I’d like to take you on next for place as the tipping king, not even in my preffered season but I’m confident of doing better than Fist

Although this thread has been fun and eventful, not to mention financially beneficial I do agree with mr Wilson. I think the signs were there last week when a sign of desperation to back an odds on fav in a 3 horse race(Oversteer)(lost)also he should of read our very own genius Edward to know that Ice Cool Lady was a lay.
I’m not purporting to be an expert, but bow out gracefully Fist and let someone else take on the king. Not me yet, I’ve only just come back into racing, finding my feet again.
