April 13, 2026 at 16:30 #1763521Heaven forbid that a flat fixture be run with the word “firm” in the going description…
April 13, 2026 at 16:32 #1763523Nicky is against running him, I guess. Although he won two Christmas Hurdles on good ground.

How does the Green Party think about running horses on firm ground?
April 13, 2026 at 17:17 #1763526I don’t know – there’s no official policy on it.
April 13, 2026 at 17:42 #1763531I hope he does run. He will not be up against trees this time and at least connections will find out where they stand if they let him take his chance.
April 13, 2026 at 17:57 #1763533We all know they wouldn’t have started watering good to firm ground with 8-12mm if say Hamish was entered instead and Haggas was making comments in the media that he was worried about running him on fast ground.
Funny if they did all that watering and Hendo pulls him out because he thinks watered ground somewhere between good to firm and good is unsafe – like he did that one time at Ascot a few years back.
April 13, 2026 at 18:27 #1763534CONVERGENT 7/2
For me I expect to develop into group one horse this year. Trainer win a stakes race in France yesterday
And think he good enough to beat these
April 13, 2026 at 18:42 #1763538I followed Covergent last season also and agree that he may have a big season ahead.
Really looking forward to seeing Constitution Hill take these better horses on. I hope he runs well but if it turns out he’s not good enough, I think he should be retired afterwards.
April 14, 2026 at 22:21 #1763635Backed Lion’s Pride at 10/1 EW. Ryan seems to be taking the ride and I don’t mind if CH is running.
GM, I think Nicky and connections might need two or three turf starts to realize whether retirement should be on the cards or not. It won’t happen just after one “bad” run. And as already stated I’m quite sure they might target the September Stakes as an autumn comeback.
April 15, 2026 at 13:39 #1763667If the field holds up it looks a cracking race , good mix of all different formlines , ages . Would love to see CH bolt up . It will be tough though. If CH dont win id like to see Al Aasy or Burdett Road pick it up .
Looking forward to the race . - AuthorPosts
