If the above 10 horses raced at Epsom with all the runners running like they did on the day who would win ?

For me, Nashwan is the best Derby winner I have seen in my years watching racing so he’s my pick. He was an exciting horse to watch with his long powerful stride.

Generous was also an outstanding winner, so I’d have him chasing Nashwan home with Reference Point in third.

Could only be one Lammtarra  Course record holder.

I would say Generous because he was awesome in both the English & Irish Derbys ; a level of form Nashwan never got near, imo. Lammtarra only really just did enough in his races and I think it is impossible to say how good he actually was. I loved Reference Point and he was a good Derby winner but I can’t believe he was as good as Paul Cole’s Champ.
