That’s some going!
I matched you stride for stride on the first 3 pages <br>(100, 93, 93), but only scored a measly 66 on the last.
So, the next time I overhear a conversation between 2 young people that goes "and I’m like ….. and then he was like…", I’ll remember that I’m not perfect with words myself.

On the introductory page should it be "use properly", rather than "properly use"? I think so.<br>
<br>I did really, really badly. Some stupid mistakes although the "She" and "I" question (which I got right) is pretty silly. Why do you need to go into that sort of detail when you can use the word we.
Anyway, I’m going to hanged my head in shame…

Would you believe I got the self same scores for each of the sections?
Presumably you also got the gushing message;
"You did so extremely well, even I can’t find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don’t. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you’re not afraid to use it properly! Way to go! " ?
I ought to frame that and show it to my boss next time she calls me "regressive", which by my estimation should be, ooh, around 9:01 am on Monday.
Pity the thing doesn’t tell you which ones you get wrong. Apart from that I enjoyed it immensely.

Glad you enjoyed the test Jeremy. :biggrin: Fancy you getting the same as me! I wish there were more tests like that; it was fun. :cool: Yeah, I want to know where I went wrong too. There were a couple I really didn’t know and I haven’t looked up since to see if I got them right, so maybe someone here can tell me……I couldn’t remember ‘principle’ and ‘principal’. Anyone know which is which?

<br>Forgive me Simon, as I’m a fan of yours, but I had to have a giggle at you posting such a huge score on the English test, but then falling for the old "I’ve been sat / sitting" confusion immediately afterwards!
