Sky have done a nice enough boost for the opening night. Coventry’s defence will be the issue I’d imagine this season, they could cause teams trouble the other way but the defence was the weak spot for them last season
1/1 Arsenal to score in the 1st half £5.00
-£25.88

August 21, 2026 at 16:12 #1773963The manager will have put his foot down. Straight win a little short enough, prefer the extra
19/10 Bristol Rovers -1 goal handicap £5.00
-£30.88

August 22, 2026 at 14:59 #1774126A lot critical and rightly so on West Ham giving away a 2 goal lead last week but we don’t quite know how good Burnley will be this season. It might turn out to be a good point. Home advantage today v Charlton and will be wanting to put right that wrong of last week
6/5 West Ham -1 goal handicap £4.12
-£35.00

Bristol Rovers returned £14.50Taunton lost 5-4 away at Uxbridge. It’s a defeat but a promising 4 games. More sides in the playoffs this year so plenty to play for

Forest maybe more open than previous years with the new manager who has a good record against Liverpool
The only other bet that jumped out was Virgil for 1st scorer1/1 Isak shot on target (boost) £5.50
20/1 Van Dijk 1st scorer £3.00-£19.00

August 30, 2026 at 21:32 #1774635Nice return, I see Taunton are home to Millbrook in the FA Cup in September. Banbury are home to Exmouth Town, having been placed in the South West zone. Lucky it wasn’t a Cornish club away, with the travel involved.
August 31, 2026 at 10:27 #1774644Exmouth Town… I played against them (reserves) for Taunton Reserves in 98 or 99. We beat them 10-0 and you can guess who was the only outfield player in our side not to score.
I’ll be going on Saturday so will try and get a photo or two to put up here

August 31, 2026 at 17:02 #1774659Taunton beat Yate 4-1 today…. away from home. Two points off top spot in 5th. 1 defeat in the last 5 and that being against Uxbridge away 5-4 who are top of the table. Delighted with this start and the 33/1 I nabbed after the first game defeat

August 31, 2026 at 20:09 #1774666Great stuff for Taunton. That double with the Gas would have been a good run for your money, if only. Banbury lost 0-3, thats them done in the league this season.
