    Only light rain forecast. I’m not sure it’ll do too much damage. I reckon we’ll be starting on the age old favourite good to soft (soft in places).

    If you believe forecasts, it is going to be dry on Tuesday to Thursday next week. If that is right, we could be on something like genuinely good ground on Gold Cup day.

    Ground is soft, good to soft in places after 10mm of overnight rain. Dry rest of the week forecast.
