I know our lads excelled in the field, but it always seemed to me to be a strong point of our players even in our worst years – not that some of the Aussie catches weren’t great.
Also, you have to admit, that our elation at beating them so magnificently must in some sense be an extraordinary tribute the Aussie’s test record against us.
