..thank you marb and how nice to talk to you all again, it’s been a while but just thought I would pop in. Best of luck with your shop venture.

KT, thanks for the invite re Dorset, hopefully later in the year, it’s so nice down that way, if you have half a million quid to spend on a semi detached :)

….the Budley Buns are those large pebbles on the beach at Budleigh Salterton which are supposed to look like buns!….

my husband took some photos of me on the beach there – in my favour I have a shredding machine which comes in handy for things like this.

Have a lovely time in Bern….would love to visit but Big Brother addicts don’t go out for the next 3 months…
I am stocked up with tea, cakes, chocolates,…and I’ve even got a man for later

    ciao x

I was watching the BB opening gambit last night .. what is all the zero tolerance stuff all about?

And the smokers have an ashtray to sit in, OMG, how trendy and intolerant of them.

think you’re on to a winner with olive oil soap; when I used to have holidays in Greece I always used to bring loads back with me..with so many people having allergies these days it should sell really well. I’ve also got a theory that the next ‘how to look 10 years younger’ fad will be washing your face with soap and water which both cleanses and exfoliates at the same time..only a hunch! so a soap that moisturises as well is perfect.

    At present:

Cant stand Alexandra, cant stand mario, can’t stand that bird who always goes on about cookies (change the record, its been two weeks now). Didnt much like stef. Did like mikey but going off him a bit too.

Its been quite good this year so far IMO.

Drinking tonic water is quite good for getting rid of mosquitos, it contains Quinine (what they use to treat malaria). I asked my doctor for some quinine tablets when I went to Ascension Island the other year and he argued that quinine (and tonic water) would not keep mosquitos away.

But it definitely works (with me anyway).

i am proud not to have watched a single frame of this contrived tabloid-tv-toss and declare i will not, nor read a sentence of media coverage of it

I always think that the strong views people have against Big Brother are akin to those of people who have given up smoking being overly anti-smoking. I cannot think of another programme where it is so fashionable to declare you do not watch it?

If you do not like it then do not watch it!

Personally my wife and I enjoy Big Brother.

I must admit, I was liking this years big brother. I think it is best when there are thoroughly detestible people in there, because it generates genuine disgust that you dont really get from soaps etc, and makes for good television.

I cant remember anyone as bad as alexaandra ever before. She is out now, and where I dontlike mario and a few others I think there are a few others who may kick off before to long.

The problem with big brother is that it is the arseholes who make the TV program and they always deservedly get voted, so from about halfway onwards it is very boring and is usually won by someone with absolutely zero personality, who has bee involved in very little confrontation and is generally "nice".

No-one wants to watch people being nice for three months.

How mental did the house go last nite?

Have went right off jen and her cronies now, she totally flipped out over very little last nite and wouldnt listen to reason, when she had about a hundred apologies. Rex was a plank for ruining her picture but she reacted like an emotional buckaroo. Stu and Dale just tried scoring brownie points off her and there was a gang of them just ganged up on Rex (who admittedly I wasnt ever that big on anyway), and have went right off them.

That Dennis was a dirty little **** for spitting in Mohammeds face, I would rather soemone just punched me than spat in my face, that would have sent me up the wall. Glad he is gone. Glad silvia has gone too, as she looked well shocked that she was going.

I actally thought Mario probably handled the situation best last nite. Im siding with Darnell, Rex, Mario and Mohammed now. Not that it makes any real difference as I never vote. This years BB has been mental so far. Its all kicked off now.

Thats what I thought when Shilpa Shetti shaved her face but she won easily enough. Questionable tactics nevertheless.

Darnell to win. He’s pretty fly for a white guy.

Couldnt help but think Mario and Mikey might get in trouble for talking about nominations.

Mikey said he has "seen a different side to people now". I suspect he’s lying.

Mikey has said he’s seen things on a few occasions now, it’s amazing what happen’s to people once they go into that house.
