Does anyone know what happened to Take A Bow in the Winterhill Stakes at Windsor? Result says she was pulled up and broke down.

Tribute to the aforementioned from Pat Chamings in the Post now.

Gutted for all the team at Inhurst, Patrick (don’t go calling him Pat, now, GC!!!! ) and Phillippa are hard working and run a lovely little yard there. They’ve deserved the increased success they’ve been having and this must come as a huge blow to them.

    Noted, SL :)

They’ve not had their share of good fortune with their better horses, have they! I think I’m right in saying they trained the useful chaser and Sandown specialist King’s Mistral, another animal lost in his prime.

You’re right, GC – but sad as it was when they lost King’s Mistral, he was already in retirement when he died.
