From the 1st April I will be relaying my BF selections. To compliment the range and improve the profit potential I am going to front some additional bets. These are free to follow and taken from my study. As systemites know selections often coincide within the same race. Therefore the best bets will only be displayed when one system selection is shown. All bets divulged will be single win bets at level stakes – the most secure and effective way to gain those LSPS. I want to achieve three aspects;
1) HIGH STRIKE RATE
2) CONSISTENT & RELIABLE PERFORMANCE
3) A GOOD PROFIT ON TOTAL OUTLAY
Your own interpretation of these aspects will waver. My aim is a 30% SR, with an average price of 3/1. All bets encountered will be;
1) In the first three of the Racing Post betting forecast price 2/1 to 15/2 inclusive.
2) In the top four of the handicap weights – 48% of all of all winners in handicaps over the flat are retrieved here.
3) In races where 50% or more of the runners have a Postmark rating.

Emotion, lack of direction and the need for instant satisfaction plays a part in bookies profits.
To counter these facts of life, I hope to bring certainty and focus for all concerned, including myself.
Abbreviations will be shown to save time.
E.G 1) DR 2.30/4 S1
This refers to selection one at Doncaster (First and last letters of the meeting in question). Time 2.30. The selected horse is number 4. It is a BF from source 1. There will a total of 7 systematic sources in the range.
All thats needed now is some bloody good luck. Remember though we are starting in April, its a difficult month at the best of times. But we can make a stand. Here and now! I know it can be done.
If you have any questions or queries please feel free to drop me a line.
Best of luck in all that you do.

March 30, 2003 at 15:46 #46515Good luck Peter you sound very organised as indeed one needs to be in the constant battle for profits.
Don’t know if this qualifies as 1 system or 7 as you are using 7 different sourcing techniques.
Any chance before you start of letting us know what all the codes are?
S1 – Beaten Favourite system
S2 – ??
S3 – ?? etc.
Cheers
March 30, 2003 at 23:48 #46516There are seven systems in total. Whereby two system bets are highlighted in the same race – there will be a no bet situation.
Effectively you are backing against your own predictions when backing two or more and its likely the race is highly competitive. Until I get conclusive evidence that counters this I will continue to pursue a policy of single win, level stake betting.
I admit the allure of a quick double or hedging your bets is blinking tempting however I’m focusing long term. For once in my life decisions are going to be acted upon.
The systems in question are based on the key factors of fitness, speed and genuine ability. They are ever evolving and subject to change when or if the need arises. They are directed from my own private study and the codes S1 to S7 will suffice for the time being…
Everyone must stand alone…
March 31, 2003 at 18:46 #46517This looks like an interesting approach Peter, have you put any of your systems through RacingSystemsBuilder? I also think that your spot on when you don’t bet against your own selections, better to not have a bet.
April 1, 2003 at 13:49 #46518Right lets get on with today’s selections.
1) LD 2.55/2 A VERY GOOD YEAR. S1
2) LD 3.25/1 LORETO ROSE. S1
3) NM 5.15/1 INDIAN MAIDEN. S5
Remember there are 7 systems in total. Our long-term aim should be gaining some decent profits and not dictated by short-term thinking. The layout of my presentation is explained above. In addition I feel its best to list the runners name to make things clearer. All I can say now is best of luck and lets make this year a winning one.
April 1, 2003 at 13:55 #46519Dave Jay, I don’t have access to RSB at the moment, though I hope to be buying it soon. My first system is listed, if you or any other members with access to the program want to test it. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated…
April 1, 2003 at 16:41 #46520A good solid performance Peter a 3rd,2nd & a 1st. Roughly 1/3 was your stated aim (30%) at around 3/1 so 5/2 is in the ball park. Well done.
April 1, 2003 at 17:38 #46521Thanks Snowman. Lets keep the ball rolling hey !
April 2, 2003 at 23:26 #46522One selection for today 3/04/2003.
1) LR 5.05/5 LOVE IN SEATTLE. S1
NO BET NO WIN NO BET NO LOOSE….
April 3, 2003 at 09:06 #46523Hi Peter,
Just to add my best wishes for your thread.
I like your style, clear, concise, long term thinking.
if my hunch is right, I bet you havnt always been so concise in your thinking and you have matured to this stage from a less well organised punter – I say this because some of your thinking makes me think of me!
April 3, 2003 at 10:15 #46524The very best of luck – nice to see some new sytems being posted.

April 3, 2003 at 11:37 #46525Hi Peter … a question.
In the rules for the BF system you’ve got;
2) In the top four of the handicap weights – 48% of all of all winners in handicaps over the flat are retrieved here.
Does this mean that you only consider HCP races with this system or this rule only applies to HCP races.
Thanks Dave.
(Check your PM)
April 3, 2003 at 21:02 #46526tttracing, you’re hunch is bang on target mate. I know you can win at this game you’ve got to be determined though. Emotion and greed play a big part in many peoples downfall, indeed i’ve been privy to wild ways…blame it on human nature – it makes life easier!
I never wanted to get beaten by the bookies you see that whats drives my approach, once embedded into a subject I tend to want to perfect it. Pretty damn frustrating sometimes really.
April 3, 2003 at 21:17 #46527Dave Jay, the top four in the weights cut off point is a factor that I decided to include, to enable a high strike rate to be achieved. In addition I wanted long term, steady growth, to make my approach rock solid. Here’s hoping, it does exactly what it says on the tin! The policy applies to all races, and in itself, like all parts to a system has to be questioned. Adaptations to the origianal BF system could well make the system more profitable. Thats where us members can work as a team and make it pay!
April 3, 2003 at 21:39 #46528Hi Peter,
I knew I could detect a bit of me in there somewhere – it took me 20 years to reach the point I am at now – and, although a ‘professional’ – I am still learning.
More power to your punting elbow!
