Hello all, just to bring it to the attention of all that this year’s Stable Stars Competition,
run by ATTHERACES starts on 18 November 2017. The competition has been running for a couple
of years now, and we have had a TRF League entered in both years. It’s a pretty huge Competiton
with £10,000 in prize money (£8,000 to the winner) so it’s well worth a crack. As an added bit
of interest, I think the winner of the TRF League deserves more than a pat on the back, so I’ve
stuck £50 for the winner. There are a couple of provisos to qualify for the TRF prize, but rather
than me write it all out again I would ask that you read the couple of posts that I’ve just added
in the STABLE STARS thread in the Racing Competitions FORUM.They have added a League of Leagues competition this year (with a prize yet to be decided), so I think
if the brains that are on here put their shoulder to the wheel, we would have a decent shout. We had over
40 STABLES last year, which was a very decent turn out, I’d like to think we could manage that again or
even better it this year.If you are interested please read the posts about ATR’s rules and a couple of my own in relation to
the TRF League. We’ve already won the TRF V Talking Horses this year, this would be another nice one
to stick in the cabinet
November 8, 2017 at 23:03 #1325873Just in case anyone is thinking of hanging back until just before the kick off on the 18th
to register their stable, on the off chance that any horse they register now gets crocked before
the the off, there is no need to worry as you can transfer in and out as many horses in your Stable
as you want before the competition starts. It’s better to register, and get a stable up an running,
before the last minute dash where the site almost certainly will slow up with a horde of late entries.November 10, 2017 at 17:17 #13261107 days left to register
Just a reminder that entries, to qualify for the 1st week, have until 11pm
next Friday. We have a few who have already thrown their hat into the ring,
but we could do with building a decent league to do well in the League of
Leagues competition. Plenty of cash (£10,000) to play for, and even if one
of our guys don’t hit the jackpot, there’s a £50 consolation prize for the
top scoring TRF member in the TRF league.https://www.stable-stars.com/
The league name is The Racing Forum (with spaces) and the league pin is 1040.Come along now ladies and gents, get your names in there…….your TRF needs you

At the moment we have a dirty dozen in the TRF League, but still time to
get your Stable organised before the off. If memory serves, we had quite
a lot of our stables registered late on last year, some wanting to wait
til as late as possible to ensure their selection was running over the
coming week. We probably had about the same number at this stage, although
we ended up with over 40.I would point out that probably thousands of others had the same idea, which
meant that the system was swamped on the Friday and I think things ran quite
slow. At least one of our League members didn’t know if he had beat the deadline
until the following morning. To avoid the late rush, it might make it easier to
get a stable registered with any ten you fancy, and thereafter change them as many
times as you like on the run up to deadline. All welcome

November 15, 2017 at 19:45 #13268652 Days left to register for the Stable Stars Competition
To compete in the 1st week, and to be eligible for the top TRF League player
prize, you need to have your Stable entered before 11pm on Friday. We have 18
Stables entered at the moment, and from the 2 previous competitions it’s not
unusual to have a late rush on Friday. If you’re thinking of having a go I’d
get your Stable started as soon as, and as I’ve mentioned before you can change
it as often as you like before the 11pm deadline on Friday. All are very welcome

November 16, 2017 at 22:15 #1327023Good man Joe, very happy to have you with us, that’s a big
plus to the League
November 17, 2017 at 09:19 #1327042Absolutely last chance to register
Well this is it, D Day has arrived. The League is going well with 29 Stables now
entered. If you’re still mulling over joining up, or if you have decided to leave
it to the last day to register your Stable, then your time has arrived. You have
until 11pm tonight to get your Stable in to play in the 1st week, and to be qualified
for the TRF Top League Player prize. At the risk of sounding like a parrot, if you wish
to be considered for the TRF prize, you must be registered with TRF
before the competition starts. As explained in the STABLE STARS thread in the Racing
Competitions Forum, I’m not trying to drum up new TRF members, it’s simply that without
someone being registered with TRF, I have no way of communicating with them (should they
be League winner) and vice versa. It’s quick and easy to sign up and costs nothing. On top of
that, it would be nice to get some response from those who are leading the way, and in any
case, it is the TRF League after all.I’ve been putting reminders in the Horse Racing Forum to let as many people know about the
competition, and when you need to be registered by. After the competition starts tomorrow,
I’ll put all updates, comments and reminders in the Stable Stars thread in the Racing
Competitions Forum. It’s 29 stables at present, I’m pretty sure we will be over the 30 mark by the end of play
today. Very best of luck to all who have thrown their hat into the ring, I think we’ve got
a great chance of doing well in the League of Leagues competition. It’s not that the League
of Leagues competition is going to be about a big prize, I think they were considering “Stable
Stars League Champion”, or something similar, T shirts. It’s more about the prestige of winning
the 1st League of Leagues competition, but mostly it’s just a good bit of fun (not forgetting
the very real big money prizes ATR are offering for some lucky punters)Thanks for all that have registered, and those that will do today. Good luck

November 17, 2017 at 10:46 #1327049Great stuff silent assassins, and welcome to the forum

I think you’ll enjoy this competition, there’s plenty of information about it in the
Racing Competitions Forum, in the Stable Stars thread, and if there’s anything you
aren’t sure of don’t be shy about asking. It’s taken us (that would be me
) a
couple of years to get our heads round it, and they have made some changes this year.Lastly, from my point of view, it makes it easier for me if someone in the TRF League
in the Stable Stars competition, is also registered with TRF, so thanks for registering
and best of luck
November 17, 2017 at 10:49 #1327051Cheers BigG I will try not to let the team down
