Papal Bee finished 8th
Beaten barely a rival home in thre starts. But running in a hard school.
First race was at Royal Ascot losing to The Lir Jet and the field.
No signs of improvement subsequently in two more runs. But all weather and drop in class may prompt an upturn in display.
£1 each way will hurt no one at a colossal price.
Red Contender has winning barrier trial experience from 7th September. Will be interesting to see how he fares against horses with real racecourse and turf experience as he won his trial well. Small win finished 7thSeptember 18, 2020 at 20:13 #1501992

Lots of money for other newcomers puts vetrran up to a huge each way price for small stakes.
Wolverhampton 8.15September 21, 2020 at 13:09 #1502455
Suffered the ignominy of a first fence fall over hurdles on penultimate run for Nick Williams. A good place after to back up a string of 2s and 3s. That was pre pandemic and the move to Gordon Elliott should have him fit and ready to step up in this company. Elliot schools them off course and there should be an improved showing on debut.
The other interesting one in running
Watching brief though. 1336September 21, 2020 at 13:42 #1502456
Wins comfortably putting rivals under pressure on the run in.
Backed in from 13/2
Won at 5/1
Did enough in modest 6th to warrant future interest in lesser contest.September 21, 2020 at 14:46 #1502469
But a total watching brief here.
Cerebus was up before the stewards last time out on the flat and should win this with big race form going back to hurdles.
Anna Burnina is interesting stepping in grade and may well improve markedly.
Sant d’e roux is out of this which opens things up.
Interesting race looking ahead to future racesSeptember 21, 2020 at 15:04 #1502470
Was unlucky FTO when bumped into and lost chance.
NTO demolished the opposition by 4.5 lengths.
Can take weight hike in stride in this apprentice race under Saturday’s winning jockey for this stable.
From stall 19 on handicap debut if worth a small each way interest
