Had a small punt on Broomhead’s Rubies From Burma at 14/1, hoping she breaks well from stall 1 to dictate a normal pace and hold on to a place at least. Oisin Murphy booked.
I thought Soprano could be vulnerable first time up and current odds of about 4/5 is not at all appetizing.
By far the most intriguing horse is Shuwari back from 533 days off. Mr. Sangster was positive but I got the sense this one was being very lightly eased back into her racing career so I wouldn’t expect her to win.

Rubies ran well bit too keen, soprano 8/11 was mad, just gets up at a much more sensible 2/1

She didn’t “get up”, Chivers: she just held on. The second would have caught her in another stride.

Can’t believe her SP – as you rightly say, the odds-on this morning was very short, but 2-1 was a bit generous.
