    Irish racing.
    In the north and South.
Many horses who ran at Cheltenham reappearing and plenty who had been aimed at Aintree.

Anybody been watching the Championship League on ITV4? There’s been some good matches although the players have understandably been a bit rusty at times. Wenbo was fantastic today and there was a decent finish to the group yesterday with Wilson and Day.

The short format makes it a bit of a bookies benefit from a punting point of view so not been getting involved with that but great to finally have some decent sport to watch. The fact that there’s bugger all else to do means I can devote a bit more time to snooker viewing than I usually can :good:

Good luck if you are punting it.

I caught a bit of Wenbo between the races earlier,
he is such a talent and would be up there with the best but seems to lack focus in the longer format, would love him to go deep in the World Championship as he is a joy to watch

I think it was yesterday I saw Burden pick up his opponents rest and they had to wait for someone to come and disinfect it

Yes each player has their own set of rests/extentions. I guess you have to in the current climate but the venue is so secure that they probably don’t need to worry as nobody is allowed near the place without testing negative. Hearn knows what he’s doing, he won’t want any bad press.

Ronnie playing today and all starts after the racing on the same channel.

He was in good form both on and off the table. He described the night he once spent in the cells as better than being cooped up in the on-site hotel.

I noticed he was using what looked like a phone at the start of one of his matches, I’m surprised he’s allowed that in the arena. Clearly he’s not up to no good but I’m sure a lot of sports bar access to phones etc during play.

    Maflin 3/1 to beat Higgins
played solid against Gilert and has beaten Higgins before albeit over a shorter format
Higgins will try and slow Maflin up so Maflin needs to not lose patience
    13-12 to Maflin 14’s

    Maflin you beauty you… :yahoo:
13-12 would have been perfect but a 3/1 winner will do just fine plus my Betfair book had Higgins as my biggest loss if he had won the title.
