Doesn’t get easier as you get older either glad. I cycle around 80 -100 miles a week all year round . Barely drink and avoid junk food easily enough. Does it come off? Barely and I could lose a few

I know the feeling, Clive. I walk seven miles a day, row 5k a day and only drink on Saturdays but still can’t lose the middle-age spread.

I don’t drink, don’t smoke, watch what I eat, never have big meals any more and tend to eat earlier (late lunch as opposed to dinner), cba with going for runs/jogs/cycling but often get 10,000 plus brisk steps in when I go racing, especially at the Points, and do manage to maintain a weight or even lose a bit when needed with that regime.

But at the age of 59 losing weight is bloody hard work.

I’m 5ft 11 and weighed in this morning at 83.2kg – not great, but not awful either.

Anyway. I used to work with a rather portly young Lardy bloke and he thought he could get away with it by wearing designer gear. Trouble is he thought he was xl rather than xxxxl

Anyway he wore French connection stuff and wore this top (with his gut hanging out) with a big FC a on the front

We used to keep asking him. What does the FC a stand for andrew? French connection! He said proudly
