We can’t have this year’s Six Nations pass by without at least one hunch bet!
Wales v Ireland 48 or More Points Total
England Win v Scotland by 15 or more Points
7/2 Double Chance!
Ireland 2nd String contingent will want to impress and so we may get an entertaining attacking game!
Expecting England to pull away in the 2nd half
February 22, 2025 at 17:49 #1721161I hope you’re right after that garbage first half.
Sickener on the 48 point bet, it’s like Ireland knew you had it on going for that penalty.
February 22, 2025 at 19:16 #1721185This team will see me to an early grave I swear.
Not pretty but a win is a win
February 23, 2025 at 21:33 #1721241Just got back to me hotel after that French landslide against Italy, how the hell did England beat France..other than putting olive oil on the ball..
Great game, many UK folks there..in Italian shirts..
February 24, 2025 at 19:16 #1721281Probably cheaper than a trip to Twickenham for many and the rugby on offer was certainly better quality. No doubt far easier to get tickets than it is to the corporate toss off in south west London too.
I wouldn’t go as far as buying the shirt but we do love an underdog in this country.
February 24, 2025 at 21:04 #1721291Around 100 euro a ticket this time in good seats on the half way line up in the stands with a good view, same seats for Italy v England last year about 80 euro. Crowd was about 10-15k more than last year, the French love this trip.
If one adds in flights/hotel and tourist things to experience Rome as a by product, certainly a good value trip.
Was nice weather too..March 7, 2025 at 18:58 #1722046Decided to include tonight’s televised Irish Prem league Soccer game in my Six Nation’s Interest bet
Shamrock Rovers Win v St Patrick’s Athletic (Friday Night)
France -1 H/C WIN v Ireland
Scotland WIN v Wales @ H/T
4/1 + Treble Chance
Rovers have several injuries but have been playing better opposition than Pat’s
France should grind out a win at the Aviva (providing they turn up which is never a certainty)
-15 General Scotland H/C doesn’t leave much of a cushion if there is any second half fatigue so went for the odds on bet ( A 20 point + wouldn’t surprise me though given naivety Welsh showed at times last time)
( Unlucky in the Wales/ Ireland match in the last round but England disgraced themselves with those 2 flat halves – Winning the championship is meaningless when you serve up that rubbish in what should have been a positive exhibition game for Rugby Union )
March 8, 2025 at 10:59 #1722109Jamie Osborne probably still has to prove he is top International class. If he falls short today Biele-Biarray may wll cross the line at some stage.
A lazy Biele-Biarray / van der Merwe (Scotland v Wales) try-scoring Double at @ 11/4 may be another bet to consider!
March 8, 2025 at 21:03 #1722193Well done on the 4/1 (I had to look up the Irish result) and good job you avoided the -15, you’d be fuming!
Have to say I’d have taken that 11/4 double. If you told me Scotland scored 5 tries without telling me who they were I’d still bet on VDM being one of them.
A bonus point win a must for England tomorrow to keep faint title hopes alive. But even with another one against Wales (far from a given) we’re relying on France not beating Scotland in Paris.
March 9, 2025 at 10:55 #1722234Cheers Richard, I was lucky with the Rovers result on Friday night – they were very poor. 1-1 would have been a fairer result. Won’t be including them again in a bet until they are full strength.
VDM was the lazy component which left me kicking myself – should have appreciated he might be more likely to shine in the Assists department rather the Tries department!
I think you can take a bonus point win against Wales as a given!
March 15, 2025 at 07:15 #1724047I’ve seen enough England cock ups in Cardiff to be worried zil. Whatever they might say, there’s no doubt in my mind that the arrival of white shirts makes them raise their game.
Ireland 2/1 outright in the ‘without France’ market a good bet? They are likely to get the BP win putting them on 19 table points. If England then fail to win the bet lands, if England win without a BP that puts the table points level and Ireland’s points difference is only 7 worse than England’s so they could definitely overhaul it. Hope I’m wrong of course and England cruise to the BP win

Hard to see past France winning it whatever happens though. I have seen the odd article trying to spin this as a potential classic day like 2015 but I have my doubts it’ll hit those heights. Should be fun though
March 15, 2025 at 11:48 #1724100I admire your youthful enthusiasm Richard given what looks like an anti-climactic final round. Shame Sam isn’t about this season to offer his expert analysis on that without France bet.
For my mug shot I’m going to gamble on Ireland struggling to get their bonus point at least – If I had paid much attention to The Italian matches I probably wouldn’t! Just Possible Italian pride over their performances this season may make for a fairly even low-scoring first half. On their best form this season no reason England and France cannot win by 15 and 30 respectively – Scotland only seem to have one good half in them
Italy v Ireland Under 68 points
England – 11 Win in Wales
France – 14 Win v Scotland
100/30 Treble Chance
March 15, 2025 at 16:34 #1724156Well the first one hosed in for you zil.
That result makes it much easier for England to finish above Ireland as only a win is required now due to the narrow margin. What do I know?
March 15, 2025 at 17:42 #1724163Biggest challenge for England was surviving the “light-show” and they’ve been engaging in citizen-arrests ever since! Can’t possibly falter now, can they! Over to the French to make hay then.
March 15, 2025 at 19:52 #1724173Stunning, that was beyond my wildest dreams. I used to live in Wales so getting one over on them like that, especially in their own back yard, feels good.
March 15, 2025 at 20:59 #1724176Sacré Bleu, the Power of Scotland!
Courage moreover
March 15, 2025 at 21:57 #1724179Scotland so brave and accomplished in defeat. Three compelling games. Super Saturday after all!
