Both pulled up injured. Does anyone know more about them?
This meeting produces about 4-5 fatalities and a lot more injured horses every year you have to ask if Gary O’Brien sounds concerned post-race.

RUK just said Sire Du Berlais was lost, looked like Kilbeg King broke a leg, not confirmed yet, but sad day.

I didn’t know about Sire du Berlais. I just assumed he was pulled up because he couldn’t go with the pace. Commentator said Kilbeg King had ‘ gone wrong’. The 6 o’clock race yesterday was carnage.

Sickener. I was just thinking that Sire du Berlais would be retired now after running so badly.

Absolutely gutted that we’ve lost Sire Du Berlais. A real character who was at his very best as an 11 year old. The sport can be so cruel at times.

Very sad.If that were here at Cheltenham or Aintree the animal rights mob would be already be condemning the sport.
I will be interested to see if there is a similar response in Ireland.

Sire Du Berlais was a real warrior.Rest easy old boy.💔😢
