Do we know what happened to him? I thought I read on here a while back that he was deceased, then there was uncertainty about it, and I can’t find anything on Google.
He was reported dead in late August. But he wasn’t dead at all, as he has since come fourth at Downpatrick on 20 September!
It is all very odd, and the racing media has taken dismally little interest in both the passing of such a grand campaigner and his subsequent resurrection.
There was a thread on here in the Memorials section, but I think it was deleted when found to be erroneous.
Huge thank you. I’ve been trawling though the memorials section because I couldn’t remember his name and then looked up Cheltenham cross country results and eventually found it. I hadn’t noticed about the Downpatrick result though! It was doing my head in. Pleased to hear he’s ok!
