January 21, 2024 at 11:19 #1678066Well done RTB, nearly got you, had seconditis yesterday!
January 21, 2024 at 11:28 #1678068Cheers Illavim your name certainly means you’ll ‘ave him sooner or later. Wish I’d put all my Navan ones up as all three won.
The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
January 21, 2024 at 11:59 #1678079Lol RTB..I could just see old ‘Butty’ being coaxed over the fences with his jockey dangling a big bacon butty in front of him. 😅🤣 If Pixar ever made a cartoon based on horse racing Butty O’Brien would take centre stage.
My best bet on a horse just for his name came when I was at the final meeting of Newmarket with my daughter last November..his name is Big Bear Hug and he stormed in at 25/1 with a tenner each way of our money on him.
Illavim so unlucky with all those 2nds but still a way to go until the Grand National finals day. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 21, 2024 at 12:17 #1678091Great going RTB, on a weekend where good prices was scarce.
The best things in life are free.
But you can give them to the birds and bees.January 21, 2024 at 15:06 #1678123You can say that again Rummy all those favourites, some odds on, make little mark when trying to move up the leaderboard you really need to go for the big prices to make an impact at this stage in the competition.
Although having said that I’d be overjoyed at 3 x even money shots coming home for me having been stuck on 14 points for the last 5 weeks. JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 21, 2024 at 18:00 #1678161We all need luck on our side for some big priced winners
January 21, 2024 at 18:06 #1678164Cheers Rummy but took no skill to pick my nap was all in the name.
