It’s a privilege to be continuing the running of this competition after Triptych’s (semi) retirement. I’d like to welcome all players (old or new) to the beginning of the jumps season competition. It’s absolutely free to participate so no reason not to.
The premise of the competition is pretty simple. Simply nominate 3 horses (plus as many reserves as you wish) and you will obtain points if they win (eg. 3/1 SP yields 3 points, 16/1 SP yields 16 points etc…). It is strongly advised you nominate a NAP as that horse will obtain double points assuming it wins. The full rules are listed just below,

It should be mentioned that the Starmix challenge remains in operation this season but with revised conditions. The first person to succeed wins £10 and winners have to be 3/1 or over. Many thanks to Nathan for continuing this fine tradition and to Triptych for continuing sponsorship of the competition. There are prizes both for the overall winner and the best NAP, so there’s something to play for all season long no matter where you are in the scoreboard.
As for this weekend’s racing. It looks an absolute cracker. The Vertem Futurity, unfortunately for those of us going to Doncaster, looks pretty miserable this year but at least the other races will have a better turnout (hopefully). Leopardstown will be a traditional end of season flat card with plenty of maidens and big-priced winners (one assumes). Kelso is an 8-race card, Newbury has 3 pattern races, this Galway card is usually of high quality as well. Chelmsford has a poor card for their standards in the evening. Oh and some Gloucestershire gaff track has a card as well.

Great job and going to enjoy this.If it’s ok I know you mentioned it but I’ll just try to Edit those competition rules to update Nathan’s starmix to 3 x winners over 3/1.
PS..I had to ask VtC as Moderator to do it as that Thread doesn’t allow editing but should all be ok soon.
