AND THE WINNER IS drum rolllllll……
HOT FUSS :yahoo: who pulled off an amazing 40/1 NAP – ROLLADICE in the 4.30 at Catterick today giving him 80 Points and shooting him straight to the top of Leaderboard. :yahoo:
Hot Fuss also scoops up the BEST NAP Prize :good:
Please PM me Hot Fuss and I will send the prizes off to you and very well done.
Commiserations Graham (BigG) who remained almost 40 lengths ahead of his nearest rival Steve75 for many weeks and was virtually uncatchable, you played a great game Graham and expect you are looking forward now to the start of the Jumps Competition where we shall all be looking over our shoulders and I will be back behind the sofa ;-)

There were some great choices played today in an attempt to try to catch Graham namely….
DFWARD who choose DONJUAN TRIUMPHANT at 33/1 in the Champion Sprint at Ascot .. 33 Points and ….
JONOVA2003 who NAPPED the Balmoral Handicap winner ESCOBAR 16/1 32 Points

John Gooch gained a further 5 Points with Count D’Orsay 5/1 and
RedRum77 put in a DOUBLE with Kew Gardens 7/2 and Magical Evens .. 4.5 Points with finally….
Middle-Of-March also choosing Magical Evens .. 1 Point

So here is the Podium finish and very well done to all players :good: It was a very exciting final week and I believe one of the highest scoring games ever. :rose: Jac

FINALLY…As you may have gathered this is my last time of posting up the Select 3 Horses Competition after 10 years of running it and happy to say how much I have enjoyed it over the years.
My husband would often walk in and look over my shoulder when I was totting up scores wondering who Nathan, BigG , Raymo might be amongst other names that I had scribbled down on my notepad with numbers next to their name LOL and I must admit that my much used notepad often looked like I was trying to work out the Enigma Code sometimes when you all turned in great scores week after week.
Anyway I am now looking forward to being just a player but as I mentioned to KRYPTON who will be taking the reigns from next week for the start of the flat compy, I will be keeping up the sponsorship of the Competition and the Best Nap also…it’s been great fun and a big thank you to Nathan who has often stood in and helped me out  and to TheKryptonFactor who also stepped in for my 2 weeks holiday this year..see you all next week AND OVER TO YOU THEKRYPTONFACTOR…Jac :rose:

:yahoo: WELL DONE TO OUR NEW CHAMPION FLAT TIPSTER 2019
    HOT FUSS :yahoo:

All I can do is take my hat off to Hot Fuss, that was an inspired last day 40/1 nap punt,
and it desreved to take the spoils. Very well done, and also to Steve75 who, as he always
does, pushed me throughout. Mainly I would like to thank Jac for all her her her hard work
running this over the past 10 years, it has become such a big part to TRF in the competitions
section and I’m so pleased that The Krypton Factor will be keeping it going. Take a bow Jac,
you may have handed the batton on, but I’m sure it will run for as long as TRF does :good:

Well done Hot Fuss on taking the title also BigG and Steve75 for making the podium 🏆 many thanks Jac for all the work put in the running of the competition over the years, these competitions don’t ‘just happen’ they take a fair bit of time and organisation and I for one appreciate all you have done for keeping the competition going over the years and thanks to Nathan for taking the reigns at times :rose: 👍

Way to win in style Hot Fuzz, with also the highest nap. :yahoo:

Hard luck but good effort from BigG.

Let’s not forget the Starmix winners, Pat123, John Gooch & Elcartero, itself not easy to win. :rose:

Also my thanks goes to Triptych and those who helped in running this comp over the years (namely Nathan). I’m sure it was a labour of love  :rose: for you Jac.

Finished off with a couple of winners and moved up in the table one place

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

Huge congratulations to Hot Fuss for coming with a late run to win The Saturday Treble after also winning the Daylight Cup to complete a year of consistently excellent tipping.
Commiserations to Big G for getting caught on the line when looking to be the likely winner.
Many thanks to Jac for devoting so much time and effort to making this enjoyable competition possible.

Congratulations to Hot Fuss for pulling off an absolute blinder of a nap, couldn’t see BigG being caught for the life of me so top marks for managing it. Above all else though, a colossal thanks to Triptych for running this competition so successfully and for being unbelievably generous regarding continuing sponsorship of the competition.

Hopefully I won’t be too much of an inadequate replacement and looking forward to next Saturday now. Good luck all for the season ahead!

What a way to win it, Hot Fuss… outstanding last day selection
Unlucky BigG that was a big total you amassed which would have won this comp most years
Jac, you are a superstar in running this for all those years, it can take a lot of time going over all the results, thank you soo much…
KryptonFactor well done in taking over the reigns, you have big shoes (stilettos) to fill but I’m sure you have everybody’s backing..
I’m happy to keep the starmix challenge going but having seen 3 competitors smash it, I’m changing it to 3 winners at 3/1 or over… 1st person to do so wins £10.

    Hello to everyone.

This was my first go at this season long competition and most of you are still
rather new to me. However I think it is fair to say that you all know how to find winners.
Some of the odds involved have to be seen as top class efforts. The top three have been
    impossible to match.

A big thanks to all of you for your efforts and of course to Jac for all her hard work in
keeping as they say “The Show On The Road”.

Looking forward to the National Hunt Season and maybe beating my 5th place this time.
But in some ways the taking part and involvement is more important.

    Once more thank you :good:

    Thanks for all the plaudits,
its nice up here in the penthouse suite!
Big G, you are very gracious and very unlucky not to win.
Jac, thanks for all your hard work in running competition, enjoy your well deserved retirement :rose:
(Please donate prize to charity of your choice)
See you all in the jumps comp.
    Best Regards … Steve

WD Hotfuss with such an aptly named nap and also to bigG and Steve.

Thanks so much for all your work Jac (and Nathan)…these comps help to make TRF what it is and your friendly posting style with your love for our equine stars (and lesser lights) shining through encouraged me and I’m sure others to have the confidence to stop lurking and join TRF properly and make it our home.

You had better not use the spare time for extra form study or the Newmarket bookies will have to take cover ;-)

LOL green you always make me smile and so glad that seeing my posts made you feel way and that you decided to come over to TRF, because it is such a melting pot of people and a nice place to hang out especially on the competition Threads which I’m hoping to be doing just that and can’t wait for Bob’s 4PP to get underway and yes still 3 whole days of Newmarket before the gates close at the Rowley Mile on November 2nd and I intend to be at every one and even pitch a tent there until The Craven Meeting… ;-)

Graham no shame in coming in second with that terrific score and we all failed to get anywhere near you, I’m sure when we’re back to the Jumps Competition you will be up there looking down on us all again. Really well done. :good:

Bob I can’t wait for your competition to start again and thank you for your kind words along with elcartero, John Gooch (who played so well for his first time in this competition) hope you know us a bit better now John and well done for winning the chewy version of Nathan’s Starmix challenge along with Elcartero, I hope started slowly faded isn’t my fate for the next comp El  If Veracious had just hung on a little longer both Steve75 and I would have been a little closer on Saturday.

RedRum well done for finishing up with a double on Saturday and for being Star Player in the Talking Horses Comp, I just know you are going to do much better during the jumps season along with Bobby VtC who I was certain was going to have Donjuan Triumphant down as his Nap on Saturday.

Nathan you have helped me out so much throughout this competition and I couldn’t have done it without you and thank you for once again sponsoring The Starmix Challenge :good: :good: looking forward to the challenge especially now you’ve made it a little harder to achieve.

Good luck to Krypton and many thanks for taking the reigns so that I can go and kick my heels in the nearest field (might get a few funny looks from the neighbours) and see you all next week…Jac

Last but by no means least….. HOT FUSS our WINNER

I don’t know about Hot Fuss Steve but I almost had a Hot Flush when I saw your selection I had to keep checking that it wasn’t 4/1 but a fantastic 40/1 Nap and then the realisation that you had scooped not only Champion Tipster but also Best Nap right at the death…along with your winning the Daylight Cup this year as elcartero mentioned that is an amazing achievement and your Bookie must be rushing for the back door when he sees you coming…I think that is one of the most exciting finishes on this competition and highest scoring with Dfward putting in a 33/1 winner and Jonova2003 Napping Escobar at 16/1 in the Balmoral.

Thank you so much for donating your winnings (£25 Total) to charity and hope it meets with your approval that I have donated that amount to The Retraining of Racehorses Charity who do such good work looking after our equine friends after they have served their time in the racing world.

Here is the page confirming receipt of your donation…and many thanks again. Jac

Well done Hot Fuss. Incredible volleyed late-goal to nick it at the death. Superb.

Thanks to Jac for the ten years of this. I’ve only been on here three/four of those years but it’s been great and these type of comps are a big part of it for me. Same with Nathans individual track competitions, the 10 To Follow comes and Pats handicap competition. All of those add to this place in their unique way. So Thankyou to you all.

Have to say a big thank you to everyone who has played and supported this competition over the years, it wouldn’t be here without YOU

My sympathies go to Graham after such a stellar peformance. To get caught last day must be galling to say the least.

And finally heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Jac :rose: :rose: Many many thanks for running this one Jac and enjoy the rest and see if you can’t win it yourself now :rose: :rose:

BigG, great tipping throughout. I didn’t think for a minute that anyone would catch you, but that’s racing. :-(
Jac, a very big thanks for keeping the comp going all these years, you and Nathan have done an absolute wonderful job. :good: :good: :good:

Thanks for the kind words Raymo and Charley and yes what a finish to my last comp it really was a Game Of Thrones not knowing who was going to take the Crown. Hot Fuss has been on fire this season and came up with the perfect surprise ending. :good:

Have to thank Krypton for taking up the challenge of keeping us all in order and Nathan for all his help and again sponsoring the Starmix Challenge. Lots to play for. :good:

Really looking forward to continuing to being part of a great team of Saturday tipsters.. :rose: Jac
