2:05 Newbury – The lightly raced Beare Necessities enjoyed the step up in trip to 3 miles in his last run and will like the soft ground. Backed e/way at 6/1.

3:40 Lingfield – The odds on favorite Mighty should win this but there are lines of form which suggest that Atlantic Quest has a reasonable chance & his present odds represent value imo. Not an easy ride but today’s jockey Dale Gibson rides him well. Backed to win at 14/1.

9:00 Wolverhampton – The form of Pab Special‘s last race in October has worked out well. Will need to be fit after an absence but trainer is in reasonable form. Backed e/way at 8/1.
