When I started following NH racing 25 years ago, I was taught that the Pond Fence was a very tricky one. As far as I can remember there haven’t been more than a few fallers at it during this period of time (25 years). I can only remember one faller in the past 6 or 7 years at that obstacle, so I still don’t know what is so special or tricky about it.
