A ride you would expect from a top jockey on a horse that can jump reliably "And there we have it m"lord the case for the defendant can now be thrown out"! All you knockers take it on the chin and move on!

December 24, 2008 at 04:38 #198910I know we should have put this thread to bed by now. However, there is a very good interview with him in this week’s Horse and Hound. Published two days early due to the fact that Thursday, it’s normal publication day is Christmas Day, you will find it on page 44.
It also includes a King George preview and for those interested in the cross country race at Flagg Moor over the stone walls, there is a report on the Host hunt, High Peak harriers and lots of pictures of people out hunting over the walls. Some great pictures as there always is in that magazine.
December 24, 2008 at 04:46 #198914when is or was the race at Flagg? I’m staying in Buxton next weekend..however, was talking to a local farmer who said that he’s hardly ever seen any racing at Flagg in all the years he’s been going because it’s always too misty!

It is always Easter Tuesday. In 2009 it will be held on Tuesday 14th April. The alternatives that day are Exeter, Great Leighs and Market Rasen. They do have a website and you can also find details on the likes of Talking Points and the Jumping for Fun site whose editor, Dom Bradshaw, is a big fan of the meeting.
December 24, 2008 at 04:57 #198918I’ve found this great hotel that is dog friendly so if it works out ok I’m planning to go to Buxton more often….rather taken with the place.
