Shah blue may make things difficult for Allaho up front , if they go hard conflated or Eldorado Allen may take advantage but I still expect him to win , hope so as he,s in the antepost bets

It’s the festival, it’s Melon for the place. 6-1 ew 2pl w/o Allaho. Probably should’ve done win only without but the only way Melon can get more Melon-y here is by coming 2nd to the 2nd. Did a little Allaho/Melon SF as well.

The bookies will have taken another hit here. Must have been plenty big hitters backing antepost as well as today , 6/4 in Jan , he was just as much a cert as Honeysuckle ….AP saying they should have gone KG in Dec …..thanks AP I had a number of antepost slips saying that

Allaho’s jumping has improved. He used to overjump a little, pitch a bit on landing and need picked off the floor but he is quicker and smoother away from the fences now. He looks relaxed now too. They probably won’t, but I’d love to see if he could do that in the Gold Cup. He was only 6 in the RSA, big and weak, and he settles better and jumps more economically now.

Not sure whether he,s quite stay ….if a APT doesn’t stay again this year in the GC would he go here next year …..id like to see that more
