I think the ground is worse than last year when Banbridge was taken out.
I’ll be surprised if he runs tbh.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"March 14, 2024 at 00:17 #1685658He’s 9/2 right now and though the race is wort 220k to the winner I think Joseph and connections will do the right thing.
In fact I’ve had a bit of 22s EW on Fugitif who might get into third place, if conditions should be even more testing.
March 14, 2024 at 12:13 #1685835Envoi Allen my main bet
A small wager on Capodanno 9s
March 14, 2024 at 12:19 #1685841This is a cracker of a renewal , ive got Banbridge well covered antepost and I’ll be honest the ground concerns me , I’ve played Conflated again , he could outclass them and I’ve also gone in e.w with Ahoy Senor ( a few times Inc 25s Ante post ), if he can jump round then I just can’t see him out of the frame , really looking forward to it
March 14, 2024 at 12:31 #1685849A speculative bet with Protektorat.
The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
March 14, 2024 at 12:37 #1685854Be interesting to see how Skelton rides him , I could see him going out and attacking the fences hard and fast
March 14, 2024 at 12:56 #1685862I’ve gone for Capodanno in the end, thought he jumped pretty well on the whole in the Cotswold. Slight concern he’ll struggle in that department at a greater speed here today, I’m not concerned about him getting outpaced, it feels to me like they only gave him the one entry and they’ve gone and got that experience of the fences the last day, this was always his festival target. He’s probably still on the up when the likes of Conflated and Protektorat who I considered might be on the way down. Very surprised Banbridge is still in, I reckon he might get pulled late in the day. Looks a cracking contest.
March 14, 2024 at 14:11 #1685909Ground not that much slower than last year and Envoi Allen bouncing this morning by the looks of him so backed him for the win.
Token ew on Protektorat as he’s in my TTF, and a small ew on Fil d’Or who has had a couple of nice runs this season.
(My pocket would like a little whinge here: the 163 rated young improving Saint Sam, who pings fences, goes on any ground and loves this trip, is twiddling his hooves at home; Bronn has been made to slog around in unsuitable bogs over 3 miles all winter and Classic Getaway was shoehorned into a big handicap last time and had a crappy time instead of being let get over Tramore and freshened for here. My pocket says the genius Mullins has made a hash of this race).
March 14, 2024 at 14:33 #1685919I think the Vautour situation has left this a race Mullins doesn’t bother to much about
March 14, 2024 at 14:34 #1685920Ground has brought Banbridge back into things.
I’ve got out of Capodanno and my saver on Conflated, especially with the going getting faster. Now just Envoi 7/2 and Protektorat 14/1.
Value Is EverythingMarch 14, 2024 at 14:41 #1685924Stage Star 5-1 ew AP. Good luck all.
March 14, 2024 at 14:49 #1685931I’m struggling to see why Conflated has drifted , he was 3rd in a GC !!
March 14, 2024 at 14:56 #1685932wd winners. Skeltons on fire.
March 14, 2024 at 14:57 #1685933Value Is EverythingMarch 14, 2024 at 14:58 #1685935Ground was against Banbridge but at least I had Protektorat on side as well.
March 14, 2024 at 14:58 #1685936Good advertisement for running graded horses instead of tucking them away
March 14, 2024 at 15:02 #1685938Get rid of the Ryanair?
