Hi Trip I think you’ve made an error with your dates. The National is to be held on the 13th of April and not the 6th. However the 20 of April is exactly 26 weeks splitting the year in two perfectly.

I’ve checked and double checked Neil and it’s definitely on 6th April..go to Aintree racecourse for tickets and they start on Thursday 4th April.
However I did see that oddschecker have the date for 13th April so perhaps the bookies have got it wrong.

Always like to end the compy on Grand National Day and start it ready for the Craven at Newmarket, it’s been like that that since Des used to run it on Yahoo, always wondered what happened to Des :bye:

Thanks for your comments though Rummy I think the 13th is an error by the bookies…Jac :rose:

Enjoy the new comp and good luck. :good:

    Thanks Bobby
If you could change heading to this ….
WELCOME TO OUR SELECT 3 HORSES COMPETITION which is played in two parts..from CHAMPIONS DAY at ASCOT in October to GRAND NATIONAL DAY at AINTREE in March for the Jumps Season and from the Grand National to Champion’s Day for Flat Season.

And in Starmix Challenge take out any reference to the date and also in Best Nap so that it is completely free of any reference to a particular date or event.
I think when this is done the rules won’t need be changed so much.

Thanks for your help Bobby, hope it makes sense… Jac :bye:
