I backed Silverburn (yeah yeah aftertimer etc etc) at 100/30 this morning. What is the Rule4 for this race and where do I find what it is?

Depends what price the withdrawn horses were with your bookie at the time of your bet. Oddschecker usually has historical odds on the site.

    Cheers carvillshill

It was Bruce Betting so they’re not on Oddschecker (their website is teletext FFS) but I reckon Hobbs Hill was a general 1/1 – 6/5 chance while Lead On was a general 9/2 – 11/2 chance. So per my calculations, I should get about 6/4:

    10/3 = 3.333333 x 55% (I lose 45% winnings from Hobbs Hill)
    = 1.83333 x 85% (I lose 15% winnings from Lead On)
    = 1.55833/1

Is that calculated correctly? (I don’t think I’ve ever backed a winner where there was a Rule 4 before)!
