Shes Perfect looks to be heading to France, Lake Victoria has had a setback, Kon Tiki and Falakeyah need supplementing, Desert Flower had a gruelling race lto, Exactly hasn’t exactly set the world alight and Bedtime Story sits next in the betting.

I can see Kon Tiki being supplemented but Falakeyah looks more a 10f horse to my untrained eye
Bedtime Story also 10f I reckon will suit her

I do like Los Angeles but want to take him on.. He’s a tough horse and worthy favourite.. However over 10f he’s more of a stamina horse than a speed one. The Ascot straight isn’t as long as the Curragh so he have to negotiate the bend before kicking for home. The forecast of a dry week  Weather changes quick these days.. Will favour the quicker horses (hes not slow by the way). Anmaat was close on seasonal debut, it was the second run for the O’Brien horse, so I can understand his proximity in the market. White Birch met trouble in running otherwise would have got very close again in the Tattersall Gold Cup, going dependant here though .. See the Fire looked a monster at York, it was against lesser opposition than here but must be in rude health to be supplemented for this. Her Ascot record doesn’t read well but one was over a mile and the other in a bog. She is likely to get condition in her favour here. May need a bit of luck in running but certainly has gears

7/1 See the Fire Prince of Wales £10.00

Charles Darwin has improved alot since that debut and depending on who else lines up I can see him going off very short. 6f could possibly be his better suit but a fast pace stiff finish Royal Ascot race isn’t far off. If the price holds I could go in again

I was hoping to wait for this one and see how Andab got on in the Coventry but have seen it tipped up in places so playing it now. Cardiff by the Sea ran with Charles Darwin for a long way on her debut and split Darwin and Andab. Those two had previous runs and are single figures for their races so a possibility Cardiff could improve for that run.

*Andab was Albert Einstein race not Charles Darwin

22/1 Cardiff by the Sea Queen Mary £2.50 EACH WAY 1/5 odds 4 places

    Thanks Vtc

Small each way on American Gulf, won his race on good/firm in impressive fashion. If trained by Aidan would be about half the price… :rose:

Respect the Mullins horses but I think they are too short. Mr Hamstead will love the trip and looks a better horse this year. Sired by Galileo he might be in his prime as a 4 y/o

Geez Witch Hunter has been poor of late. 6 y/o so probably on the down grade now.
He has won at Royal Ascot before though at a big price and was 4th this time last year in the Queen Anne

18/1 Witch Hunter Buckingham Palace £2.50 EACH WAY 1/5 odds 6 places

Skyboost on Cinderella’s Dream… She gets her going
I’m also keen on Fallen Angel but the drift has put me off slightly
I’ll see as much as I can how she looks beforehand and goes to post, may play late, may not..

I’m on Charles Darwin but have to play Afjan who won superbly impressive in France, officially good going but who knows… both are either side of the track. I’ve thrown in a reverse f/c too

    19/2 Afjan Norfolk £10.00

Gosden is in good form and I found it hard splitting Trawlerman and Sweet William. The price swayed me, I had Sweet William down as a 6/1 shot. William Hill rewards boosted him up a little more than the 17/2 on offer. He travels and stays

This horse has never raced below 7f but a fast paced 6f at Royal Ascot could be deemed a stiff enough test.. The French race puts him up there with Henri Mattsee and he had the disadvantage on being up with the early pace. The drop back doesn’t look a natural call from 1600 to 1200 but he does look to have something about him
the favourite looks the obvious one to beat
